Directly responsible to the Security Director in conjunction with school site administration; perform school security duties, in and about the Destiny Christian Academy site.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

<li>Assure the safety and security of Destiny Christian Academy personnel, students, and visitors on school property and at school activities.</li>
<li>Assure security services are provided to Destiny Christian Academy buildings, facilities, materials/contents, bus stops, parking lots and areas adjacent to schools where students may gather.</li>
<li>Patrol buildings and grounds of school campus.</li>
<li>Conduct foot and/or bike patrol of assigned areas during, before, and after school hours.</li>
<li>Direct and monitor congregation/ student activities when needed.</li>
<li>Assist visitors in their movement to and from school activities and property.</li>
<li>Work with school site administrators in controlling unauthorized presence and movement of students and non-students.</li>
<li>Take appropriate action to quell disturbances.</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with site administration, Public Safety Officers, and outside law enforcement personnel.</li>
<li>Work cooperatively with local law enforcement agencies (Sacramento Police, Rancho Cordova PD, Sacramento County Sheriffs’ Departments and California Highway Patrol), as well as other emergency service agencies.</li>
<li>Operate equipment and devices needed to orderly conduct responsibilities of the campus security detail.</li>
<li>Secures crime scenes, preserves physical evidence, takes written statements from victims, witnesses and suspects, and performs follow up investigations.</li>
<li>Write clear, concise, and accurate reports utilizing appropriate technology. </li>
<li>Prepare and maintain a variety of records and reports related to security operations on incidents including, but not limited to, crime reports, incident reports, property damage and theft reports.</li>
<li>Follow established school procedures in reporting.</li>
<li>Participate in on-going training as provided by the Security Director.</li>
<li>Participate in periodic uniform inspections. </li>
<li>May be required to operate school vehicles in the performance of assigned duties.</li>

QUALIFICATIONS:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position’s duties are normally performed in a standard work environment based on the activity scheduled. Some physical effort is required; therefore, the employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. He or she may be required to walk or sit for extended periods and may be exposed to outside weather conditions, including but not limited to heat, cold, humidity, rain, and direct sunlight. Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 50% of the work period while operating equipment, such as a computer keyboard, mouse, calculator, and other similar machines. 


WORKING CONDITIONS:
Working conditions are dynamic. This requires the willingness to work a flexible schedule that may require occasional weekend and/or evening hours. The employee will be using his or her personal vehicle; therefore, he or she must hold a valid driver’s license in the state where he or she is based and have appropriate auto insurance as required by law. Job Description
Position Description     Under general direction, the Institutional Police Lieutenant manages the total operation of the Community College District law enforcement program. As a sworn Peace Officer under the direction of the Chief of Police, performs supervisory duties, general law enforcement and patrol duties in uniform, without limitations, to meet Department staffing needs.
Supervision Exercised: Incumbents in this classification supervise subordinate sworn and non-sworn staff. NOTE: This position is designated supervisory and is not represented by a bargaining unit. 
EXAMPLES OF IMPORTANT AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
1. Under the general supervision of the Chief of Police, the Lieutenant is responsible for the supervision of all assigned personnel and is responsible for the protection of life and property and enforcement of all pertinent laws within the jurisdiction of the San Francisco Community College District Police Department.
2. Act as an overall assistant to the Chief of Police and may act as temporary head of the Police Department in the Chief’s absence.
3. Work closely with members of the campus administration, the faculty, the students, or representatives of local public safety agencies in the implementation of policies, procedures or agreements pertaining to program operations.
4. Plans, assigns, directs, and coordinates the activities and schedules of personnel assigned to the law enforcement program of the Community College District.
5. 12. Coordinate the Department’s Field Training Program, Dispatch Communications Training Program, and Parking Enforcement Training program.
13. Assume administrative investigations responsibilities and other relevant disciplinary issues as assigned by the Chief of Police.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS These minimum qualifications establish the education, training, experience, special skills and/or license(s) which are required for employment in the classification. Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in police science, criminology, public administration, or related field.

The Mental Health Specialist 1 provides culturally competent, appropriate, and trauma-informed crisis and behavioral health treatment for assigned clients with complex psychiatric needs and complicating medical concerns. This position provides counseling and education primarily for individuals and groups within the residential milieu of the Hood River Care Center. The Mental Health Specialist 1 may also provide behavioral health services to client’s family, other community agencies, coordinates behavioral health services with other community and State resources, and performs related work as required. Incumbents must demonstrate cultural sensitivity and understanding of how culture influences and impacts behavioral health services while incorporating this understanding into trauma-informed care. Responsibilities

· Conduct interviews to accumulate pertinent data to screen potential clients for appropriate placement within the ECS program. Assess presenting diagnosis and develop corresponding service plans. Provide psychotherapy, counseling, and case management services to individuals, couples, families and groups. Counseling and psychotherapy may include working with assigned clients in developing communication skills, providing assertiveness training, providing behavior modification programs, and monitoring the effects of prescribed medication.

Qualifications

Mid-Columbia Center for Living (MCCFL) is a recovery-oriented, trauma-informed service provider for persons with serious mental illness, and addictions. MCCFL seeks to become consumer-involved, consumer-engaged and consumer-driven. The employee must embody principles of recovery, consumer-involvement and trauma-informed care as demonstrated in prior work experience, daily attitude and professional behaviors.
Introduction of the Classification: The Family Care Coordinator (QMHA) is responsible for providing service planning and needs assessment to children and their families.  This position assesses and monitors progress and also coordinates/refers resources as necessary.  The Family Care Coordinator (QMHA) works in collaboration with community partners and the MCCFL Clinical Services Team to ensure that appropriate and effective services are provided to clients.  With the high prevalence of trauma among individuals receiving mental health services, the Family Care Coordinator (QMHA) must possess demonstrated understanding of the effects of trauma on health, relationships, coping and other aspects of the lives of those we serve.
This position provides QMHA behavioral health services to clients age 2-17 and their families. This unit serves our most intensive levels of services with a focus on children and youth that are at risk of loss of placement from their homes, schools or community. Clients may present with a variety of issues including trauma histories, dysregulated behavior and/or emotions, suicidality, and difficult relationship dynamics. Interventions may include Collaborative Problem Solving, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and a variety of other modalities.
Essential Responsibilities of the General Classification:
<ul>
<li>Assess the comprehensive needs of children and families including their current and potential strengths.  Coordinate eligibility review team meetings and other service planning meetings for families, children, and youth.  </li>
<li>Facilitate the development of individual service plans and coordinate the identified services.  Encompass families and youth as partners in the process of managing/coordinating care.  Incorporate the strengths of families and youth, including the natural and social support networks on which families rely.</li>
<li>Provide care coordination/management services to assigned clients.  Services are provided in the home, virtual  and/or a variety of community settings with consideration to client preferences for time and location.  Actively participate in joint care planning and coordination with community partner service teams and MCCFL Clinical Services Team.  </li>
<li>Provide assistance with securing needed resources such as financial assistance, transportation, educational services, and treatment services as appropriate. </li>
<li>Monitor and evaluate progress in appropriateness of services and achieving goals; provide timely feedback/updates to family regarding progress; encourage progress.  </li>
<li>Serve as an advocate for the child and family as appropriate.</li>
<li>Utilize agency clinical software system to prepare current client records of treatment and reports as necessary and required.  Responsible for the maintenance and timeliness of all records, progress notes, and other required documentation.</li>
<li>Performs data tracking and reporting. </li>
<li>Maintain current knowledge of administrative rules and statutes that govern the work.</li>
<li>Support the goals of continuity and coordination of care across multiple services and systems over time.</li>
<li>Regular and reliable attendance; professional communication; confidentiality. </li>
</ul>
Position Specific Essential Responsibilities for the Intensive Outpatient Services and Supports (IOSS) for children (including accordance with OAR 309-019-0165): This position is for a Family Care Coordinator for the Intensive Outpatient Services and Supports (IOSS)
<ul>
<li>IOSS services may be delivered to youths ages 2-17 at a clinic, facility, home, school, other provider or allied agency location, or other setting as identified by the child and family team.</li>
<li>Triage and implement strategies for crisis and crisis stabilization with the family team or wraparound team</li>
<li>Develop strategies designed to facilitate positive alternatives to challenging behavior and to assist the individual in developing adaptive and functional living skills;</li>
<li>Document identification of strengths and needs and a proactive safety and crisis plan.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of parenting skills/techniques and child development, and experience working with disadvantaged individuals and high-risk families, including work with sexual abuse, drug and alcohol abuse, domestic violence and trauma is also needed</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Participate in monthly wraparound team meeting with clients, families, Family Care Coordinator, and relevant community partners for integrated treatment planning and care coordination.</li>
<li>Coordinate and implement in-home care needs with IOSS Clinician</li>
<li>Facilitate psycho-educational groups.</li>
<li>Develops and provides skill training, intensive skill groups, environmental interventions and case management services to individuals, families and groups.</li>
<li>Provides behavioral health education and information to various interest groups.</li>
<li>Assists and/or provides back-up support with screening, referral, and crisis services as needed and directed by supervisor.</li>
<li>Actively participate in joint care planning and coordination with community partner service teams(schools, group homes, community detention facility, community medical hospital and other Department of Human Service programs) and MCCFL Clinical Services Team.  </li>
<li>Works with other staff and community representatives to initiate new programs, reviews, evaluates, and revises existing programs as necessary.</li>
</ul>
Job Qualifications of the Classification:  Incumbents in this position must be certified as a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA).  Any combination of experience and training equivalent to the following is qualifying:
<ul>
<li>A Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology or related human services field and two (02) years’ experience in human services; OR </li>
<li>A high school diploma and five (05) years of equivalent training and work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  </li>
<li>Experience working with families and children with severe emotional disturbances and/or early childhood education is preferred</li>
<li>Bilingual fluency Spanish/English is required.</li>
<li>Must pass all criminal history check requirements as required by ORS 181.536-181.537 and in accordance with OAR 407-007-0200 to 407-007-0370.</li>
<li>Must possess a valid Oregon or Washington Driver’s license, maintain an acceptable driving record, and be insurable for client service purposes and for travel between business offices, meetings and/or trainings.</li>
</ul>

Ability to work within strong professional ethics and rules of confidentiality to provide effective services to clients.  Ability to effectively work with clients to encourage and facilitate engagement in the treatment process; ability to maintain a strong service orientation; ability to read and understand a service plan and to effectively coordinate identified services; ability to write and maintain timely and cogent notes, reports and other professional documents; ability to organize and execute work effectively under the pressure of time-sensitive deadlines; ability to work with grace and good humor under pressure and to meet multiple deadlines; ability to work cooperatively with other departments and service providers; ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; ability to effectively represent client and Agency interests to community partners and other stakeholders; ability to establish and maintain harmonious work relationships with co-workers at all levels of the organization, consultants, contractors, community partners, and consumers.
Leadership Received: This position works under the supervisory leadership of a Clinical Supervisor.  The designated supervision emphasizes independence of method and process while indicating accountability for results.
Leadership Exercised: This position is not responsible for providing supervisory leadership to any other classification.
Physical Demands: The Family Care Coordinator must have the ability to quickly assess and respond to concerns related to interpersonal and environmental safety as well as client care.  While performing the essential duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to use office automation including computer and phone system that requires fine manipulation, grasping, typing and reaching. The employee may be required to sit or stand for several hours at a time, depending on environment and need. This position may occasionally be required to lift up to twenty (20) pounds, and to kneel, reach, bend or squat while in the office or in the community.
Work Environment: Frequent travel in the tri-county region is required with work performed in various settings, including office environment, community settings and other agency stakeholder facilities. The office environment is typically with moderate stimuli and may often result in exposure to increased sensory experiences. Community settings, such as private residences, schools, police precincts, respite facilities, hospitals and other public spaces may pose additional risks or discomforts which require safety precautions. The Family Care Coordinator is expected to perform work responsibilities in the same settings in which employees are required to work.
