Potential clinical duties include (but not limited to) the following:

<li>Takes records, including intraoral photos, x-rays, and 3D imaging</li>
<li>Handling a fast-paced patient schedule/column</li>
<li>Works with instruments, metals, and plastics in a clinic setting to align teeth</li>
<li>Orthodontic procedures, such as impressions, bonding brackets, changing arch wires, debonds, and works with specialized orthodontic appliances and Invisalign</li>

General Description: 
Responsible for patient support, including but not limited to: orthodontic assisting, specialty referrals, monitoring inventory of clinical supplies, oversees preparation of clinical supply orders, provides support for maintenance of clinical equipment, and performs clinical support team assignments. Maintains compliance for IC, OSHA, HIPAA, and safety compliance.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A ROBINWOOD ORTHODONTIC ASSISTANT
As an Orthodontic Assistant - your role is crucial to the operation of the Robinwood Dental orthodontic team. A typical day involves a wide variety of tasks - including leading new patients through their orthodontic consultation, helping patients start their Invisalign journey, bonding attachments &amp; buttons, assisting with periodic progress checks, attachment removals, and much more. On our younger patients - you will work with orthodontic appliances such as rapid palatal expanders, sagittal appliances, amongst other early interceptive therapies. As an orthodontic assistant, you have the opportunity to work independently with patients, and truly make your own contribution to their orthodontic journey.
