DESCRIPTION
This is a regular, full-time, exempt, day shift position.

 You are a professional that is responsible for providing occupational therapy treatment of students ages 5-22 in accordance with approved policies, procedures, and protocols. You enjoy planning, implementing, and coordinating comprehensive therapy. You thrive in an interdisciplinary team setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

<li>Provide and document therapeutic plans of care</li>
<li>Meet with teacher to suggest modifications to adaptive equipment or activities, as necessary</li>
<li>Liaise with student’s families and other services to plan for the student’s transition </li>
<li>Observe, note, and report on the progress of short and long-term treatment goals, including collecting data and reporting on progress goals</li>
<li>Carry out client’s IEP goals and objectives in all relevant training environments including school, community and vocational settings</li>
</ul>

QUALIFICATIONS

<li>Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy or related field</li>
<li>Assistant-level license to practice Occupational Therapy in California</li>
<li>One year experience as an OTA preferably working with children, adolescents, and young adults</li>

Summary:
Provides Occupational Therapy Services to patients referred, including assessment, treatment plan development and implementation with the follow-up and discharge planning. Actively assists with clinical aspects of the department, including program development, department operations and Performance Improvement activities. Assists with supervising and coordinating the Occupational Therapy and Occupational Therapy Assistant Student programs. In addition, supervises Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, Rehab Technicians, and Volunteers.
