As a Youth Care Professional you will:

<li>Provide supervision of client daily activities and behavior according to established trauma-informed, strengths-based guidelines and procedures</li>

Job Summary
This position performs routine clerical duties, such as setting up and maintaining files, sorting and delivering mail, entering data into the computer, preparing routine correspondence and completing all participant pre-screenings. Operates a variety of office equipment, such as computer, fax, copier, calculator, and printer. Occasionally, fills in for front office Receptionist, Admin. Assistant, Transportation Driver, or other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions

<li>Answers phones, records and distributes messages, greets and directs staff and visitors with courtesy and respect. (As requested, or in the absence of the Receptionist/Admin. Assistant)</li>
<li>Assists in the preparation of program reports, proposals, etc. (Relevant to TANF Clerk duties. e.g. Department stats)</li>
<li>Completes and responds to all TANF pre-screenings.</li>

<li>Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks and/or providing staff coverage as needed.</li>
<li>Drives company vehicle, as requested, for the purpose of delivering mail, packages, TANF participants, or other services.</li>
<li>Establishes and maintains filing system for correspondence, forms, reports, records, etc. for Eligibility, Case Worker, Career and Ed Coordinator.</li>
<li>Follows up with participants as needed. (MER's, Child Care, Mileage, Documentation, etc.) </li>
<li>Maintains strict confidentiality of all facts of program and participant records.</li>
<li>Maintains a safe and clean file room area by complying with all procedures, rules and regulations.</li>
<li>Operates a variety of office equipment, such as copier, computer, printer, fax, typewriter, calculator, etc.</li>
<li>Performs other appropriate duties as assigned by Site Manager.</li>
<li>Receives and sorts participant mail and deliveries as assigned by Site Manager.</li>
<li>Prepares and coordinates monthly participant mailings and other daily correspondence.</li>
<li>Reviews incoming participant Monthly Eligibility Reports for completeness and accuracy.</li>
<li>Types letters, reports, forms, etc. from rough drafts for Eligibility, Case Worker, Career and Ed Coordinator.</li>
<li>Attend Tribal and other special events for outreach and/or networking.</li>
<li>Pick up and deliver participants (including adults and children) to and from various locations, including rural/urban areas and reservations, for trainings, appointments and special activities, as needed.</li>

Job Requirements and Qualifications
Education &amp; Experience: High School Diploma or GED with one (1) year of file and records management experience.
Certificates &amp; Licenses: Valid California Driver's License with driving record acceptable to SCTCA's insurance.
Knowledge Requirements: Knowledge and experience with general office systems, equipment, and procedures. Good oral and written communication skills. Computer literate with ability to operate a PC and MS Office software programs, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher. Requires minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute. Must have a strong attention to detail. Knowledge of Indian history, culture and politics a plus. Proficient in using virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom, Go2Meeting, etc.
Physical: Typically requires sitting for extended periods of time. Lifts and moves objects frequently weighing up to 25 pounds. Primarily an indoor office environment.
Conditions of Employment: Candidates are required to successfully complete required background check, including Live Scan and drug screening.

Culture Our Mission: The Oliver Scholars Program prepares high-achieving students from underserved New York City communities for success at top independent high schools and prestigious colleges. The Essentials What We Are Looking For:

<li>An Assistant Program Manager for GIL should be a person of integrity who is highly committed, very responsible, and is organized with a definite attention to detail considering the daily program assignments and compliance to state licensing regulations at this facility. A Manager who is honest, faithful, and trustworthy; and demonstrates a dedicated work ethic will fit well in our company culture. This assistant Supervisor must be someone comfortable working in a team environment with another Assistant program Manager and the lead Program Manager.</li>
<li>This Assistant Program Manager should also be caring and compassionate with respect to our residents and a solid coach and mentor for the 12-15 staff members for which he or she will be responsible to supervise. A Manager who is kind, patient, and flexible with co-workers and team members; and also good at observing for other's needs, while listening to others, and making room for efficient and effective staff supervision and training of a diverse workforce. Someone who can manage the entire program needs (with support of course) including medical, financial, programmatic, recreational, and house/facility management.</li>
<li>This Assistant Program Manager will need to be flexible with your schedule and availability to work due to the nature of 24-hour care for individuals requiring high levels of support in a facility that you might potentially supervise. Someone who is coach-able, interested in personal development, eager to learn and willing to ask questions will fit well in our company culture. This is an hourly role and overtime is available. The APM will also be subject to call at the particular program worked, in a three person rotation.</li>

The Residential Program:
GIL Foundation is seeking a committed and qualified Assistant Program Manager to join our team. The residents of this program are truly a special group and wonderful to serve. The guardians are very supportive of GIL and our staff. The residents are typically active in community outings and recreational activities; therefore an enthusiastic, attentive Assistant Manager who is willing to explore opportunities for personal expression, new experiences, and routine family interaction for our residents is preferred.
 
The Other Stuff:
In this field, there is staff turnover, it tends to go in cycles; but historically GIL has experienced lower than average rates due to our quality of care and supportive environment. However, we want potential candidates to be aware that staffing in this meaningful field during COVID has been a greater challenge due to national staff shortages and other factors beyond our control yet we continue to work to improve this issue.
 
Our shifts are set shifts, with stronger staffing patterns, and the scheduling is managed through advanced technology an electronic scheduling system whereby all staff have access through their electronic dashboard or mobile device app. Open shifts and scheduling can be better supported and managed in real time as all staff get texts and emails through the system and can respond promptly to opening, swaps, time off, etc. for which Managers can coordinate more efficiently.
 
The Managers schedule shall be flexible during the day shift depending on the needs of the program he or she will lead. Because this is an hourly position, the Program Manager will be able to work overtime and also allow staff overtime for scheduled coverage beyond 40-hours in a work week. This Program Manager will receive routine support from a dedicated Assistant Program Manager to assist with program assignments. On-call schedules are shared and rotated between several Managers and Supervisors to share the workload and reduce the necessary burden.

Job Description
Under general supervision, the Food Service Worker performs any or all duties associated with setting up and working on a trayline, serving food to residents, washing dishes and/or pots and pans, bussing dishes, preparing food, such as salads, desserts, garnishes and/or maintaining cleanliness of food service and dining room areas.&nbsp; May be required to work varying shifts, including morning or evening shifts.&nbsp; As a representative and team member of dining services, this position is expected to present oneself in a manner that reflects professionalism and ensures resident satisfaction in the dining department.
Schedule:&nbsp; Monday-Friday 11am-7pm &amp; Sunday 8am-5pm
Pay: $15.50-$16.50 Depending on experience.
To be successful in the role, you would have:

<li>Prior food service, fast food or restaurant experience</li>
<li>Prior experience working with seniors (preferred)</li>
