The Royal Service Supervisor coordinates services with the guests and between all departments. Job Description
Summary The Front Desk Supervisor will provide leadership, training, and direction to the front desk team. They will act as an active member of the front desk team when needed.
Job Posting Deadline  Applications for this position will be accepted until May 31, 2024. 
Essential Job Functions •    Train and monitor staff •    Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms •    Provide information about the hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities •    Work in our system “Alice” to impute maintenance requests •    Respond to guests’ complaints in a timely and professional manner •    Select and block rooms for arriving guests, book same day reservations, pre-register guests as required, and sometimes escort guests to their rooms •    Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs •    Work closely with the guest services agents to coordinate the smooth and efficient handling of guest luggage at both check in and check out •    Create unique baskets or special amenities for special guests  •    Deals with all guest related issues as well as emergency and security situations in all areas of the hotel •    Accept reservations, changes, and cancellations  •    Make change, post charges, reconcile daily work, and make deposits •    Other duties as assigned 
Qualifications
•    High School Diploma or equivalent required  •    College degree in related field preferred  •    1 year of management experience preferred  •    3 year of front desk experience preferred 
Additional Information
Supervision Given and Received Given: Exercises direct supervision over front desk staff. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, frequent and detailed review of work, training, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.  Received: Works under limited supervision of Front Desk Manager. Receives guidance in terms of broad goals and overall objectives and is responsible for establishing strategical methods to attain them. Can formulate policies but does not necessarily have final authority for approval. Review of work is not detailed and emphasizes accomplishment of broad work objectives, rather than specific assignments. 
Work Environment and Physical Demands  Ability to be on your feet, kneel and bend for extended periods of time. Regularly work in adverse conditions and requiring the use of protective apparel/equipment to prevent exposure to the elements as well as an office environment and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces. Must be able to lift, push or pull occasionally up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance.

Front Desk Supervisor - Limelight Ketchum

Guest Service Supervisor 
SUMMARY:
To assist guests efficiently, courteously and professionally in Guest Service related functions. To maintain high standards of service, and hospitality. To perform assigned tasks such as scheduling, and ensuring that all GSRs are maintaining high levels of customer service.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times. Check guests in and out efficiently and in a friendly manner.
Handle guest mail and messages per established procedures.
Develop a thorough knowledge of hotel staff, room locations room rates, amenities, and selling strategies. Take reservation requests efficiently.
Answer switchboard in accordance with standards of proper telephone etiquette. Block rooms and handles special requests.
Monitor room availability and offer AGM and GM assistance in yield management and restrictions. Handle safe deposits by guests per established procedures.
Keep lobby and desk area clean and presentable.
Have a thorough knowledge of emergency and security procedures. Offer and properly handle requests for wake up calls.
Know how to clean guestrooms to standards.
Clean back office area as requested by management. Open and close shift, make cash drops.
Ensure all credit cards, cash and change funds are balanced throughout each shift. Inform management of any guests or systems related complaints or problems.
Communicate with incoming staff and management by logging pertinent information in the pass on log. Keep maintenance informed of all maintenance needs.
Pass on guest lost and found inquiries to management or Guest Room Supervisor.
Must wear proper uniform and nametag at all times in accordance with the Standards of Appearance.
Prepare daily deposits, comparing deposited monies to funds reported at desk, and follow up on any discrepancies. Complete weekly front desk scheduling based on forecasted occupancy.
Must be able to answer questions that GSRs may have.
Must be able to cover any call-off shift as per proper chain of command. Each associate will be required to follow the rules as found in the M&amp;R Employee HandbookPerform other duties as assigned by management, of which employee is capable of performing.

Guest Service Supervisor- Tarrytown House Estate

<h3>Job Description</h3>
The Front Office Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Front Office Manager while providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests, prior to arrival and throughout their stay, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy. 
Pay: $22.00 hour
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner. </li>
<li>Always maintain a friendly and warm demeanor.</li>
<li>Ensure that employees are always attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees.</li>
<li>Ensure logging and delivery of all messages, packages, and mail in a timely and professional manner.</li>
<li>Be aware of all rates, packages, and promotions currently offered.  </li>

Qualifications

<li>High School diploma or equivalent required. </li>
<li>At least 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field required. </li>
<li>College coursework in related field helpful. Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.</li>
<li>Ability to stand during entire shift.</li>
<li>Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary. </li>
<li>Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions. </li>
