Position Overview
The director of donor impact at the VermontCommunity Foundation (VCF) is responsible for leading stewardshipactivities for fundholders and donors, to expand the VCF’scharitable impact in Vermont by doubling the dollars sustainablyactive in the community by 2027. The director's primaryresponsibilities include:

The director oversees the donor impact strategy, which supports andinspires fundholders to utilize their full charitable capacity withVCF. This includes developing effective fundholder stewardshipstrategies, measuring success in delivering donor services, andusing data to continually enhance the stewardship program andinform product innovation. The director collaborates closely withthe Philanthropic team, Grants and Community Impact (GCI) team,Finance team, and Communications team, to develop processes,proposals, and content that align with fundholder and donorinterests. They utilize technology and data systems to track donorpreferences and inform stewardship plans and productdevelopment.
The VCF is on a growth trajectory and is looking for leaders with agrowth mindset. As a member of the leadership team for VCF, thisposition models VCF’s core values and serves as a positive rolemodel for change. This position also sits on the Philanthropydepartment’s leadership team. In this capacity, the director helpsto set department goals and targets for success and commits topersonal and professional development.
This position is full-time and  manages a full-time donorimpact specialist. The director reports to the VP forPhilanthropy.
Essential Responsibilities
Donor Impact Strategy
<ul>
<li>Oversee the donor impact plan to support and inspirefundholders and donors to utilize their full charitable capacitywith VCF and to make a difference with their giving in Vermont andbeyond</li>
<li>In close partnership with colleagues on the Philanthropy team,develop targeted stewardship plans for fundholders and professionaladvisors</li>
<li>Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team todefine and generate leads, refine campaigns, and analyzeoutcomes</li>
<li>Develop benchmarks of success for donor stewardship andcustomer service</li>
<li>Leverage software to continually enhance the stewardshipprogram, inform marketing, and generate opportunities for businessdevelopment and product innovation</li>
<li>Oversee the administrative workflow of all funds and the newfundholder orientation process</li>
<li>Lead organization-wide customer service training forcommunicating and working with donors, fundholders, andprospects</li>
</ul>
  Knowledge and Data Management
<ul>
<li>Collaborate with the GCI team to generate landscape scans,grant slates, and other stewardship needs for fundholders</li>
<li>Serve as primary liaison with the Marketing and Communicationsteam to leverage Insight Hub content that inspires and supportsfundholder and donor interests</li>
<li>Track donor interest areas, grantmaking styles, and charitableneeds to inform stewardship plans and product development</li>
<li>Work closely with the GCI team and the Marketing andCommunications team to:

Position Summary Description The Alumni Engagement and Giving Officer reports to the SeniorDirector of Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving. <li>Represent the Marion County Behavioral Health Division by participating in meetings, committees, and Board sessions as assigned by the Division Director. </li>

Budget, Contract and Grant Management Provide expertise, oversight and support of grant application and implementation, contracts, and budget, including required outcomes.

<li>Work with the Behavioral Health Operations Team to research and applies for grants and other funding/revenue sources to finance services provided in programs.</li>

Quality Assurance and Program Development Supports supervisors and ensures that data drives decision making, alongside adherence to department mission and values, trauma-informed and person-centered care, and evidence-based practices.

<li>Use data, client, and community input to inform decision-making and design actionable solutions to challenges, optimizing the services and supports provided by the division.</li>

Requirements for the Position
EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
<li>Possession of a master's degreein a social science field, and five (5) years of responsible, professional experience in the mental health system, including three (3) years in a supervisory capacity; OR</li>
<li>Any satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience relevant to the position. </li>
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

This is a hybrid position, and the candidate must be able to commute to the JVS office in Boston.
Position Summary: The Grants Manager is responsible for the creation of grant proposals and related materials that support the JVS Development team’s strategic fundraising goals. The Grants Manager works closely with the Development team, finance department, and programmatic staff throughout the agency to develop compelling proposals in response to solicitations from government and private grant- making organizations. Reporting to the Associate Director, the Grants Manager will work as part of a team within the Development Department who are responsible for increasing, diversifying, and sustaining philanthropic support from foundations, corporations, and government sources. The ideal candidate will be an excellent writer, strong communicator, accomplished project manager, and possess meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
The JVS grants program produces over 100 proposals, reports, letters of intent, and concept notes each year. The Grants Manager coordinates the production of all projects, serves as lead writer for many of the projects, and ensures timely submission to funders.

<li>Maintain overall grants project calendar, ensuring all deadlines are met. Assign team member as lead writer to each project. The Grants Manager will prepare of portion of proposals and reports and will coordinate production for others.</li>
<li>Using JVS standard operating procedures (SOPs) and tracker, plan each project (letter of intent, concept note, proposal or report. Initiate and coordinate internal requests for data, budgets and expenditure reports, and program narratives. Review material for accuracy, relevance, and completeness. <li>For assigned projects, research, write, and submit compelling grant concept notes, letters of inquiry, proposals, and reports. Following JVS SOPs, prepare drafts of assigned reports and proposals and share with Associate Director/VP/other for final review.</li>
<li>Engage and oversee freelance grant writers to assist with funder proposals and reports as needed. This includes providing internal information and guidance to grant writers, reviewing drafts and making edits/revisions as needed, as well as setting deadlines and expectations for their work.</li>
<li>Review all projects for accuracy, completeness, and consistency with JVS style. Ensure on-time submission of all proposals and reports.</li>
<li>As grants are awarded, assure completion of award documents. Share notification with finance and program staff. Add deliverables to calendar and update records in Salesforce. Write grant award acknowledgment letters and track payments with the JVS finance team.</li>
<li>Update agency profiles on sites including Charity Navigator, GuideStar, and Great Nonprofits. Request and collect information needed to update annually.</li>

<li>Participate in calls with grantmakers and strategic partners, as needed.</li>
<li>Prepare detailed agendas, background information, and talking points for senior team members ahead of grantmaker calls and meetings.</li>
<li>Recommend interpersonal pathways to connecting with funders by mapping out our professional network.</li>
<li>Facilitate the grant agreement process by coordinating with team members to review and execute all materials.</li>

Specific Job Requirements:

<li>3+ years of experience in grantseeking, grant writing, or grants management.</li>
<li>Demonstrated analytical and persuasive writing skills. including the ability to clearly convey complex information.</li>
<li>Strong administrative skills as well as the ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.</li>
<li>Intermediate to expert skills in Google Workspace.</li>
<li>Superb attention to detail.</li>
<li>Ability to work under pressure and respond to deadlines without sacrificing quality.</li>

Grants Manager, Full Time, typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some flexibility is needed for community event participation. Some evening and weekend availability required.

Position Summary:
The Grants Manager develops proposals and ensures deliverables for all Federal, State, private and corporate foundation grants are met, including adhering to approved budgets, timelines, and strategic plans. Works under the supervision of the Chief Executive Officer with interdepartmental support from Directors and managers. Works in tandem with the Grant Writer/Coordinator. The mission of the Grants Manager is to acquire money and other resources and to contribute to program success by ensuring the following: 1) compliance with all funders, district, local, state, and federal requirements; 2) timely completion of grant deliverables; 3) full engagement of grant partners; and 4) appropriate expenditures within approved grant timelines and budgets.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree or Master's in Project Management, Business, Social Sciences, Healthcare, or otherwise applicable field.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: 
Certification in grant writing or project management preferred.
Experience: 
Experience in grant writing, and/or grant management, preferred. Rural health experience and/or interest in public health, preferred.
Job Knowledge:
Ability to efficiently perform duties with minimal supervision and within designated deadlines. Ability to retrieve, communicate, and present data and information both verbally and in writing.
