Intensive Stabilization Residential Technicians are scheduled on a regular, rotating, or sporadic basis to work with AWARE Residents who need support focusing on stabilization to avoid being transferred to a higher level of care, including hospitalization, placement in a locked facility, and/or transfer to an out-of-home state placement.

AWARE’s Intensive Stabilization Residential Technicians assist people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in realizing their full potential and becoming valued and participating members of their communities. The work is complex and goes well beyond caregiving, requiring skills including independent problem solving, decision making, behavioral assessment and prevention, medication administration, health and allied health treatment, teaching new skills, crisis prevention and intervention and more.

Responsibilities:

<li>Provides direct care to those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.</li>
<li>Performs personal care tasks, including assistance with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding, and ambulation, medical monitoring, and health care related tasks.</li>

<li>Reminds and assists clients with self-administration of medications (with proper training).</li>

Position Summary The SLS Technician (Supported Living Services) supports participants with developmental and intellectual disabilities, as well as moderate to severe behavioral challenges. The job site is located at the participant's home or in the community as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician performs various basic maintenance duties requiring technical labor skills, including HVAC repairs and adjustments, plumbing, light carpentry/construction, appliance repair, groundskeeping, and more. Physical Requirements, with/without Reasonable Accommodations:
