Knox College invites applications for the full time, 12-month position of Assistant or Associate Director of Student Financial Services. As the successful candidate, you will provide a full range of financial aid and student account counseling services for current and prospective students and their families; analyze and verify financial aid applications; award financial aid based on federal, state, and institutional policies; and participate in outreach activities both on- and off-campus. You will also play a key role in utilizing new technologies and leading initiatives to help us improve the delivery of financial aid and related services. This position is located in Galesburg, IL.

Essential Functions:
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

<li>Award applicants with federal, state, and institutional awards in accordance with student eligibility and institutional policy</li>
<li>Verify financial aid applications using federal tax transcripts, verifications forms, etc.</li>
<li>Determine eligibility for Parent PLUS loans</li>
<li>Identify, determine, and approve special circumstances warranting professional judgment modifications</li>
<li>Review enrollment after add/drop period to determine student aid eligibility</li>
<li>Review and process student aid adjustment requests such as part-time adjustments, additional loan requests, housing status changes, etc.</li>
<li>Work with students regarding their student accounts and payment plans</li>
<li>Review reports to ensure compliance with federal regulations such as over awards, Pell LEU issues, loan limit issues, CFLAGS, etc.</li>
<li>Award financial aid to study abroad students based on revised cost of attendance information; and determine eligibility for alternative loans.</li>
<li>Maintain current knowledge of federal/state regulations and institutional policy. </li>
<li>Attend financial aid workshops, training sessions, and conferences</li>
<li>Assist with development and maintenance of financial aid policy and procedures manual</li>
<li>Coordinate with other offices on campus such as Business Office, Registrar, Admissions, etc.</li>

Requirements
Required:

Job Function: Oversee the daily operation of the school office; act as secretary to the Principal. English Adjunct Pool

Knox College invites applications for the full-time, 12-month, benefited position of Assistant Director of Admissions Technology. The Assistant Director of Admissions Technology will serve as a co-administrator of Knox College’s Slate CRM instance, which is used in the recruitment and admission of prospective students. In this capacity, this position will also interface with additional campus systems and engage with the respective departments in sharing data between these systems. The Assistant Director will serve as a liaison to third-party vendors and campus-wide constituents to share, analyze, and report on relevant admissions data. Finally, the Assistant Director will maintain data access to, troubleshoot issues with, and provide ongoing training for, faculty, staff, and student employees. This position reports directly to the Director of Admissions Operations and will be a valuable member of the Admissions Operations team within the Office of Admissions.
Essential Functions: 
The Assistant Director will act as the data steward for admission data, ensuring the quality and security of data:

The Head Coach is responsible for all aspects of the Knox College Softball Program including but not limited to: executing a successful recruiting and retention plan; integrating the program into the campus community; scheduling, planning, and supervising practices and contests; team travel; managing the program operating budget; developing cultural competence within the men’s basketball program; fully supporting Knox College and Prairie Fire athletics department diversity and inclusion initiatives; fundraising; administering all aspects of the program ensuring compliance with departmental, institutional, Midwest Conference (MWC), and NCAA rules and regulations; participating in alumni and booster engagement, including promotion of program on social media platforms; and additional coaching and administrative duties as assigned. The Stephens College PA program is based on a 12-month didactic phase and a 15 month clinical phase that culminate in the conferral of a Master of Physician Assistant Studies.

Principal faculty for the Stephens PA program will assist with the development, content delivery and assessment of didactic curriculum. The successful candidate will teach, evaluate, and advise didactic and clinical phase students. All principal faculty participate in the continuous review, analysis, and evaluation of the program’s mission. Other duties include scholarship, academic advising, service and professional activities. All principal faculty receive 0.20 release time to pursue clinical practice and/or research.

The ideal candidate will join a nascent Animal Behavior program and help lead its development and expansion. Summary As an employee operating in a Whole Health System of care, you will operate in a model with three core elements, seeking to create a personalized health plan for each Veteran. This is done in the context of healing relationships and healing environments and a connection back to the Veteran's community. This aligns with the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Mission Statement to Honor America's Veterans by providing exceptional health care that improves their health and well-being.
The primary responsibility of this position to serve as part of the weekday after-hours call rotation. Some weekend call and remote rounding may also be available. This is not a full-time position. The primary responsibility of the psychiatrist is to provide comprehensive psychiatric management of veterans presenting for mental health care. The purpose of care is to diagnose and treat mental illness and mental health conditions requiring intervention, primarily in a multidisciplinary setting. Major duties consist of independent initial assessments, diagnosis and management of mental conditions in veterans presenting self-referred or as consultation referrals from other services. Management consists of ordering appropriate investigations, referrals, pharmacological and nonpharmacological treatments, including evidence-based psychotherapies and further referral to specialized mental health programs. The Supervision of residents is a major duty of this position and is required to maintain accreditation and meet affiliate training program requirements. The psychiatrist is part of the call system by rotation for emergency room coverage, consultation liaison, residential, and mental health acute unit coverage. Rotations are for weekday, evenings (and possibly weekend), call, including holiday coverage for the site

Pay Rate: $200K - $300K per year based on credentialing and experience.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must meet the basic requirements as well as any additional requirements (if applicable) listed in the job announcement. Applicants pending the completion of training or license requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met. Currently employed physician(s) in VA who met the requirements for appointment under the previous qualification standard at the time of their initial appointment are deemed to have met the basic requirements of the occupation.
Basic Requirements:
<ul>
<li>United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.</li>
<li>Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine. The degree must have been obtained from one of the schools approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed.</li>
<li>Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.</li>
<li>Residency Training: Physicians must have completed residency training, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification. (NOTE: VA physicians involved in academic training programs may be required to be board certified for faculty status.) Approved residencies are: (1) Those approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), b) OR [(2) Those approved by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA),OR (3) Other residencies (non-US residency training programs followed by a minimum of five years of verified practice in the United States), which the local Medical Staff Executive Committee deems to have provided the applicant with appropriate professional training and believes has exposed the physician to an appropriate range of patient care experiences. Residents currently enrolled in ACGME/AOA accredited residency training programs and who would otherwise meet the basic requirements for appointment are eligible to be appointed as "Physician Resident Providers" (PRPs). PRPs must be fully licensed physicians (i.e., not a training license) and may only be appointed on an intermittent or fee-basis. PRPs are not considered independent practitioners and will not be privileged; rather, they are to have a "scope of practice" that allows them to perform certain restricted duties under supervision. Additionally, surgery residents in gap years may also be appointed as PRPs.</li>
<li>Proficiency in spoken and written English.</li>
</ul>
Preferred Experience: Board Certified in Psychiatry
Reference: VA Regulations, specifically VA Handbook 5005, Part II, Appendix G-2 Physician Qualification Standard. This can be found in the local Human Resources Office.
Physical Requirements: The position will require walking, standing or sitting for periods of up to or beyond 10 to 12 hours each day. In addition, the incumbent will need to bend, lift and turn. Education Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in allopathic medicine or osteopathic medicine. The degree must have been obtained from an institution whose accreditation was in place for the year in which the course of study was completed. Approved schools are:
<ol>
<li>Schools of medicine accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) for the year in which the degree was granted, or</li>
<li>Schools of osteopathic medicine approved by the Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation of the American Osteopathic Association for the year in which the degree was granted.</li>
<li>For foreign medical graduates not covered in (1) or (2) above, facility officials must verify with the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) that the applicant has met requirements for certification, and must obtain a copy of the ECFMG certificate, if claimed by the applicant. [If the applicant does not claim an ECFMG certificate, facility officials must still confirm that the medical school meets (or met) ECFMG eligibility requirements for the year the candidate graduated.]</li>
</ol>
NOTE: The Under Secretary of Health or designee in the VHA Central Office may approve the appointment under authority of 38 U.S.C. 7405 of a physician graduate of a school of medicine not covered above if the candidate is to be assigned to a research, academic, or administrative position with no patient care responsibilities. The appointment will be made only in exceptional circumstances where the candidate's credentials clearly demonstrate high professional attainment or expertise in the specialty area.
