<li>Create a collective resume outlining all arrangements pertaining to the entire program including guest rooms, F&amp;B, etc. Prepare detailed Banquet Event Orders for all catered functions.</li>
<li>Manage function space and room block inventory as assigned and ensure that all BEO paperwork is completed in a timely and accurate manner.</li>
<li>Order AV equipment/staff, floral, entertainment, resort activities/programs, and coordinate off-site excursions as per the client’s request. Coordinate all vendors, including insurance, set up and walk-throughs.</li>
<li>Attending weekly BEO meeting to review all details and requirements for in-house or upcoming groups.</li>
<li>Follow up on all changes, additions, pop-ups, cancellations, or special requests promptly and ensure that all relevant information is communicated to all operating departments accurately and timely.</li>
<li>Handle all aspects of pre- and post-conference requirements with on-site group contact</li>
<li>Handle Catering sales inquiries and actively sell catered events as business demand dictates.</li>
<li>Meet or exceed all department and individual financial goals by maximizing revenues at all opportunities.</li>
<li>Assist the Director of Catering with budget and forecast, and complete special projects and assignments as designated.</li>

Requirements:

Event Services Manager for a Luxury Hotel in Nashville, TN

JOB SUMMARY: The kitchen lead assists in overseeing production and quality control at the production kitchen and is onsite at events, providing communication and updates to the junior sous chef (JSC). They are responsible for preparing ingredients and stations used in cooking, maintaining the kitchen, and ensuring it is clean and sanitized throughout the shift.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 
<ul>
<li>Oversee quality control, maintaining Seasons Catering standards.</li>
<li>Prepare dishes following Seasons Catering standards and recipes.</li>
<li>Ensure other kitchen staff follow Seasons Catering standards and recipes when preparing food.</li>
<li>Know, follow, and enforce proper food storage standards.</li>
<li>Know, follow, and enforce proper food handling techniques (i.e., time and temperature, raw items, safety/sanitation).</li>
<li>Know, follow, and enforce proper food labeling standards.</li>

PRODUCTION KITCHEN:

<li>Coordinate with event managers and other staff to ensure food is delivered on time and according to the planned menu.</li>
<li>Manage portion control to ensure consistency and prevent shortages.</li>
<li>Monitor the quality of prepared and served food, ensuring it meets the client's expectations.</li>
<li>Quickly address any issues that arise during the event, such as equipment failures or ingredient shortages.</li>
<li>Occasionally interact with clients to ensure their satisfaction and handle any last-minute requests or changes.</li>
<li>Complete post-event reports on event performance, including any issues encountered and suggestions for improvement.</li>

POSITION TYPE: Full-time, non-exempt
PAY RANGE: $24-28/hour depending on experience
