Position Highlights

TAUC Team Lead: We are looking for experienced Paramedics who have 2+ years of clinical practice and who are ready to take that next step into leadership. TAUC's Team Lead position offers the opportunity to expand your clinical skills while also participating in management training. Our fast-paced, high-acuity urgent care setting offers you the opportunity to participate not only in leadership training but also build your knowledge base in areas such as Occupational Medicine, Inventory Management, and CLIA certified laboratory services. This position also will allow you to enhance your skills as a trainer.
Requirements:
To be considered for the Team Lead position, you should have the following skills, characteristics, and experience:

Great Compensation Package: Start at $25/hr and attain $26/hr after completing Team Lead training (attainable in about 90 days). Emergency Medical Technicians provide care to emergency and non-emergency patients and maintain positive working relationship with all customer groups and agencies. 
The EMT assists the Paramedic in providing care and operates emergency vehicles and collaborates with emergency medical systems, working to assure the accomplishment of MEMS' goals.

What's it like to work as an EMT?

<li>MEMS provides coverage around the clock, seven days per week. Most schedules include 12 or 24 hour shifts on a regularly rotating basis; other shift options may also be available </li>
<li>EMT's and Paramedics work outdoors in all kinds of weather</li>
<li>Physical demands include walking, climbing, kneeling, bending, running and frequent lifting of 110+ pounds</li>
<li>Accurate hearing ability and vision that can be corrected to 20/20 are required. </li>
<li>Respirator use may occasionally be required</li>

New EMTs receive a starting salary of $32,000 with full benefits including retirement. (The hourly rate varies based on assigned shifts.) After 1 year of service, base pay increases to $34,340. MEMS provides higher pay with experience.
