Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Parts Department Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team at Ziems Ford Corners. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving of automotive parts and accessories, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely delivery to both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:

Shipping and Receiving: Receive incoming shipments of automotive parts and accessories, verify contents against packing slips or invoices, and inspect for damage or discrepancies. Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy in item selection, proper packaging, and timely dispatch.

Inventory Management: Maintain organized and efficient inventory storage areas, including shelving and bins, to facilitate easy access and accurate tracking of parts. Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure stock accuracy.

Order Fulfillment: Process orders from internal departments, service technicians, and external customers promptly and accurately. Retrieve requested items from inventory, package for shipment or pickup, and coordinate delivery schedules as needed.

Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain thorough and accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments, including packing slips, invoices, and shipping manifests. Enter relevant data into computerized inventory management systems and assist with maintaining up-to-date electronic records.

Communication and Coordination: Collaborate effectively with colleagues in the Parts Department, Service Department, and other dealership departments to fulfill orders, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of parts and accessories. Qualifications:

<li>Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations, preferably in an automotive or dealership environment.</li>

<li>Proficiency in using computerized inventory management systems and basic office software applications.</li>

Position Overview: Shipping Clerk As a Shipping Clerk at Fenix Parts, you will play a crucial role in our logistics operations, ensuring the timely processing and shipment of automotive parts to meet our high standards of customer satisfaction. The schedule for this role will be Monday – Friday, during the night shift which typically starts around 9pm and ends in the early AM hours.
Key Responsibilities:

<li>Quality Control: Inspect parts to guarantee they meet Fenix quality standards before shipment.</li>

<li>Part Staging: Organize and prepare parts for dispatch on Fenix delivery trucks.</li>
<li>Warehouse Duties: Perform general warehouse tasks in addition to specific shipping duties.</li>
<li>Safety: Must ensure the safe operation of forklift equipment, as well as maintain a clean workspace void of debris.</li>
