Responsibilities
Direct, plan, admister, monitor and evaluate the delivery of imaging services to patients.

<li>Recruit, interview, hire and evaluate staff within assigned department.</li>
<li>Prepares departmental budgets and ensures that departments operate within allocated funds.</li>
<li>Determines and justifies needs for equipment purchases, adheres to policies regarding purchases, monitors installations, and oversees proper functionality.</li>
<li>Develops, implements, and monitors plans for patient care services in assigned departments, which may include oversight of non-imaging or radiation oncology.</li>
<li>Serves as a liaison between the radiologists, radiology residents, chairperson, radiology staff and other department leaders.</li>
<li>Maintains compliance with regulatory agencies.</li>
<li>Maintain department facilities and equipment in a condition to promote efficiency, health, comfort and safety of patients and staff. Evaulate and justify equipment and supply needs and purchases, insure maintenance schedules with Bio-Med.</li>

<li>Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.</li>
<li>Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.</li>
