SUPERVISION RECEIVED Work under the general supervision of a manager or supervisor, who assigns work, establishes goals, and reviews the results for overall effectiveness. Per Oregon Health Authority, Behavioral Health Services Rule 309-019-0130: Program staff providing direct services shall receive clinical supervision by a qualified clinical supervisor related to the development, implementation, and outcome of services, documentation of two hours per month of supervision for each individual supervised. SUPERVISION EXERCISED Primary supervision of employees is not a responsibility of this classification; however, positions may act as lead workers, as defined in the Marion County Personnel Rules. May assist in the supervision of interns and volunteers. <li>Work independently to provide crisis assessment and specific intervention services, including development of safety/crisis plans and suicide and self-harm risk assessments. </li>

Case Management &amp; Consultation 
<ul>
<li>Determine individual service needs, eligibility, and appropriateness of services. </li>
<li>Provide case management to include making referrals and coordinating with other agencies to obtain services and resources for individuals; and advocacy and brokerage on behalf of client to access community resources, benefits, and entitlements. </li>
<li>Provides individual case specific consultation to other providers and community partners, which may include recommendations for risk reduction.</li>
<li>Work on development of individuals' natural supports.</li>

<li>Provide intake and annual comprehensive mental health assessments, including assessing mental health and/or behavioral symptoms using a variety of standard assessment tools, individual functional skills, determining treatment needs, developing individualized treatment plans, developing crisis prevention plans, and directing provision of treatment services. </li>
<li>Assess, develop, and direct individual mental health, functional skills, and behavioral symptoms using various standard assessment tools and customized individual treatment plans.</li>
</ul>
Licensed Duties 
<ul>
<li>Act as a lead clinician, providing clinical consultation and assistance to interns and other staff members, including acting as a lead clinician in specific treatment areas requiring advanced training or expertise. </li>
<li>Review and evaluate treatment plans and therapeutic techniques of other staff. </li>
<li>Analyze individuals' symptoms and advice less experienced staff on appropriate treatment, changes in the treatment plan, and/or diagnosis. </li>
<li>May assist in the supervision of student interns and volunteers. </li>
<li>May assist with clinical supervision for mental health professionals. </li>
<li>Coordinate treatment or other educational and consultative services with community agencies and programs. </li>
<li>Provide mental health and/or substance use disorders education and training to other staff, outside professionals, and the community.</li>

Documentation

<li>Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with Federal, State, County, and treatment program requirements under the direction of the clinical supervisor. </li>
<li>Meet performance expectations for time and billing standards.</li>

Miscellaneous
<ul>
<li>Work with a team of clinicians and supervisor for treatment planning, staff and departmental meetings, and trainings.</li>
<li>Engage in clinical supervision with a qualified clinical supervisor related to the development, implementation, and outcome of services. </li>
<li>May represent the agency on internal or external committees as requested by the supervisor.</li>
<li>Perform other job duties as assigned by the supervisor.</li>

Requirements for the Position EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING 
<li>Master's degree in psychology, social work, recreational therapy, music therapy, art therapy, or a behavioral science field; OR </li>
<li>Bachelor's degree in nursing or occupational therapy and licensed by the State of Oregon; AND</li>
<li>One year of postgraduate degree experience in the behavioral health field.</li>

POSITION SUMMARY: 
This position is responsible for providing student-centered financial and academic counseling to prospective students through the student lifecycle. This position will also ensure the delivery of effective and quality service to students in the following areas: financial aid eligibility, planning, and packaging, as well as course scheduling, attendance appeals, and Satisfactory Academic Progress appeals. This role will work in conjunction with admissions, serving as both the Financial Aid Advisor and Academic Counselor in our “grad team” model. Responsible for timely response to requests for information, at-risk student interventions, and referrals to University resources, and assisting prior students seeking to return within 60 calendar days from their prior attendance. This is done through adhering to Federal/State regulations for awarding financial aid, advising students of the University’s policies and procedures, and collaborating with Enrollment, Faculty, Program Directors, and University Support Services on the student’s behalf. This position provides comprehensive support services and serves as the primary advocate for the assigned student body, aimed to improve the student experience and retention to graduation. 

KEY JOB ELEMENTS:

<li>Assist students and parents with understanding and completing all forms and providing relevant documents related to financial aid.</li>
<li>Assist with the completion of the FAFSA and review of the resulting ISIR. Assign the appropriate budget to the student as well as ensure timely payment of the student’s aid. Responsible for document collection and uploading to appropriate depository for future access as needed</li>
<li>Assist with alternative means of financing any remaining balance after awarding eligible federal, state, or institutional aid </li>
<li>Maintain accurate and compliant student records with complete forms and documents to ensure accurate and timely payment of aid. </li>
<li>Create financial plans for assigned students in compliance with institutional policies and Federal regulations, communicate the plan to students and parents, and effectively explain the rights and responsibilities of each aid source.</li>
<li>Demonstrate proficiency in timely processing and disbursement of aid.</li>
<li> Develop course schedules for new, continuing, transfer, and reentry students aligned with course sequencing in the curriculum and provide advisement focused on academic progress toward graduation in the shortest time possible for the student, as applicable to their individual situation. </li>
<li>Maintain direct contact with assigned students via phone and e-mail; respond to student inbound communication within established timeframes</li>
<li>Monitor student’s attendance, grades, academic progress, and financial responsibilities, and develop success plans for at-risk students or those experiencing challenges in collaboration with faculty, academic leadership, and University support services.</li>
<li>Demonstrate proficiency with understanding and communicating policies in the University Catalog, Student Handbook, and Programmatic Handbooks as they relate to assigned students, such as the Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy, Attendance Policies, Academic Integrity/Academic Honesty Policies, Conduct Policies, and Appeals Procedures. </li>
<li>Provide guidance to assigned students for academic procedures such as grade challenges or appeals.</li>
<li>Facilitate new students' acclimation to the academic environment prior to the first class by reviewing the enrollment process, providing an overview of the online classroom, and reviewing graduation progression options. Audit student academic records regularly and determine progression towards and candidacy for graduation. </li>
<li>Effectively access and perform assigned duties using the Student Information System, Learning Management System, and relevant databases.</li>

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
Knowledge:

THE PRACTICE SUPERVISOR IS A PRACTICE MANAGER IN TRAINING; DUTIES MIRROR THE PRACTICE MANAGER. 
Responsibilities:

<li>Successful management of the day-to-day clinic operations</li>
<li>Ensure the office is staffed appropriately and providers' schedules are optimized</li>
<li>Verify that clinic staff &amp; new employees receive the required documents, training, login, onboarding, and a clear understanding of the OnePeak mission, vision, and culture.</li>
<li>Place high importance on employee retention and engagement through constant focus on staff development through continuous coaching, delegating, embracing change, adapting to cultural differences, relationship building, and always promoting the OnePeak culture.</li>
<li>Ensure Medical Assistants and Front Desk complete all tasks before leaving for the day. If they cannot complete tasks for some reason, enlist help or assistance to complete them.</li>
<li>Address and resolve staff issues, conflicts, or concerns in a timely and efficient manner</li>
<li>Keep in constant communication with staff members and providers to see how they are doing/if you can help/address questions/concerns.</li>
<li>Provide backup and support to front and back offices as needed</li>
