A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CONSTRUCTION PROJECT ENGINEER
As a Construction Project Engineer, you will oversee all aspects of construction projects including direct communications with owners, contractors, architects, designer, etc., concerning project cost, staffing and scheduling for the company's federal government projects. You will assist Superintendents and Project Managers with project quality control plan development and implementation; ensure submittals are completed in accordance with project documents; create, maintain and update deficiency lists, discrepancy lists and punch lists; assist in communicating project changes and implementation of changes; follow up on material delivery; schedule, track and review all project testing; and always maintain a clean and safe physical environment.
