Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Substance Abuse/Mental Health Counselor. The Substance Abuse/Mental Health Counselor will be responsible for conducting assessments, providing individual and group therapy, and case management. They will also be working with families to provide therapy and support, in addition to collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Counselor/Therapist are included but not limited to:

<li>Conduct assessments on clients utilizing SFRC’s biopsychosocial assessment (BPS) risk assessment and other evaluation tools to determine the ASAM criteria.</li>
<li>Provide individual and group therapy utilizing evidence-based and best practices in SUD treatment, psycho-education cognitive/behavioral methods, motivational interviewing, and holistic other therapeutic modalities.</li>
<li>Coordinate and collaborate with the Case Manager to provide referral services at other agencies for services not provided by SFRC.</li>
<li>Participates in initial and ongoing training on EBPs utilized for client service delivery. Maintains fidelity to the EBPs being utilized.</li>

· Strong foundation in Social Work, Psychology, and Mental Health
· Experience in Case Management, Family Therapy, and/or other relevant fields
