General Statement of Duties:
Reporting to the Assistant Dean of the Collaborative Learning Commons, the Coordinator of Library Services: Electronic Resources, Instruction, &amp; Research Librarian is an integral part of the LaChance Library staff (4 staff members plus the Assistant Dean) and the Collaborative Learning Commons (CLC). The CLC is comprised of LaChance Library, the Learning Success Center, and Testing Services; they share a common strategic plan and physical space.
The successful candidate will maintain the library's electronic services and technology needs (CWMars, AspenDiscovery, SpringShare/LibApps, etc.) and grow the quality of our digital interface experience through collaboration with LaChance Library staff and other CLC departments as well as with students, faculty, and other stakeholders. This includes setting a schedule and establishing policies and procedures for technology, including selecting and maintaining social media. The candidate will also provide instructional support as needed and scheduled hours at the Research Help Desk.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate library electronic resources and technological systems. Assess status of resources and systems and update as needed. Increase quality of library electronic resource interactions. Review new and updated technological offerings to advise Assistant Dean and Library staff of future possibilities. • Develop library/Collaborative Learning Commons social media presence. Select appropriate technologies for maximizing student contact and encouraging library use. Collaborate with CLC staff, marketing, UX Committee, and other stakeholders to leverage social media postings in impactful ways. Collaborate to maintain postings in ReadyEd app and other specifically selected social media. • Provide Library Instruction as needed on Gardner and/or Leominster campuses. Be available to provide instruction on days when you are already located on a given campus. Treat instructional opportunities as a chance to pilot or highlight new technologies and interfaces when reasonable. • Serve at Reference/Research Helpdesk as needed on Gardner and/or Leominster campuses. Maintain a regular schedule of hours across both campuses. Minimum Qualifications:

Job Description
50% - Assist the management of campus HVAC systems and associated resources
• Effectively manage available staff, material and service resources towards campus priorities ensuring HVAC system reliability across the Lawrence campus. • Assist with the management of the campus BAS enterprise control system as it relates to HVAC. • Assist with Preventive Maintenance operations to reduce reactive maintenance and further • Ensure HVAC system reliability by developing and implementing a plan for the ongoing maintenance, Repair and replacement of units in compliance with University standards in furtherance of the university's mission. • Directly supervises senior technicians and any related support technicians. • Ensures compliance with industry best practices for maintenance, safety and installation of HVAC equipment.
20% - Perform and/or oversee necessary cost accounting, time reporting, work order management and purchasing activities to ensure necessary data is available to make effective data-driven decisions for our organization.
10% - Project/Modification work
Oversee, review and/or comment on new project proposals and documents from the KU and/or commercial engineering design team to ensure industry best practices for efficiency, reliability and maintainability. Review, coordinate and oversee new minor HVAC modification projects including but not limited to, replacements, refurbishments, and new installations.
10% - Communicate, coordinate and collaborate with customers, staff, peer leadership and university leadership as activities relate to HVAC systems. Ensure affected customers are appropriately informed of activities that impact their operations.
5% - Oversee and/or perform all new hire and/or termination activities for the unit.
5% - Performs other related duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
1. Reach, grasp, lift, carry, and place moderately heavy loads frequently, and heavy loads occasionally (50 lbs) with or without accommodation. 2. Perform work above normal heights, in confined spaces, and in extreme temperatures – both hot and cold, inside, and outdoors. 3. Report to work during declared periods of inclement weather. 4. Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed. 5. Work planned and unplanned overtime as needed. 6. Must digitally enter work order information and perform other electronic communications as required. 7. Must have a valid driver's license by the time of hire and maintain that license throughout employment.
Required Qualifications
1. High School diploma or completion of a GED equivalency. 2. Five (5) years of experience in HVAC maintenance work. Associate's degree or vocational school certification may be substituted for two years of the required maintenance experience. 3. Three (3) years of experience as an HVAC supervisor or lead worker. 4. Proven experience in HVAC building automation system(s) 5. A valid driver's license by time of hire and maintain the license throughout employment. 6. Experience using MS Office, including Outlook and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience managing HVAC building automation systems - preferably Johnson Controls Metasys systems. 2. Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) experience- preferably IBM Maximo. 3. Knowledge of safety measures and occupational hazards of the trades. 4. Experience working in a large university/college maintenance operation or multi-building operation. 5. Experience working with or in plumbing, sheet metal, and/or electrical trades.

<h3>Job Description</h3>
Position will be open until filled.
GENERAL PURPOSE: The candidate must be a certified peace officer in the State of Texas with at least five (5) years' experience and will need a good working knowledge of all City Ordinances and State Laws especially those pertaining to Airport Property. A successful candidate will need familiarity with Federal Regulations that cover all aspects of the Airport Security Program (49 CFR parts 1540 &amp; 1542 and 14 CFR part 139) or be able to quickly obtain a working knowledge of those regulations. This will include working closely with several Federal, State, and Local Agencies, including but not limited to: Federal Aviation Administration; Department of Homeland Security; Transportation Security Administration; State Law Enforcement; FBI; and Local Law Enforcement. Work is performed under general direction and requires the ability to effectively interact both internally and externally and use considerable initiative and judgement.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul>
<li>Enforce the laws of the City of San Angelo, State of Texas, and applicable Federal Statutes. The successful candidate must be a self-starter and possess good organizational skills. In addition, a solid working knowledge of computers is required to be able to utilize the wide-range of programs in use by State and Federal agencies. A good working knowledge of Microsoft applications will be required.</li>
<li>Prior to employment, the Successful Candidate must pass a Federal Background investigation in order to send and receive Security Threat Assessment's from the Transportation Security Administration on individuals seeking access inside the Airport property. This would also be necessary to submit Criminal History Record Checks directly to the Federal Bureau of Investigation for individuals seeking access to the secure areas on the Airport. Additional Background checks will be required to obtain access to sites required by the Transportation Security Administration for the security of the Airport.</li>
<li>Runs the badging office for the whole airport and issues controlled access media ID under FAA and TSA regulations.</li>
<li>Trains alternate airport security coordinators on all aspects of the ASP.</li>
<li>Will act as the Airport Security Coordinator (ASC). The Successful Candidate would be required to attend and obtain a certificate from an Airport Security Coordinator (ASC) school within thirty (30) days of being hired. The ASC is responsible to teach the airport badged access class. The ASC is responsible for all security and law enforcement duties at the airport.</li>
<li>The Airport Security Coordinator will be responsible for the development and continuous maintenance of the San Angelo Regional Airport Security Program (ASP). This program dictates how all entities operating at the Airport will conduct business as it relates to the security of the Airport. This will include a working knowledge of the Airport Emergency Plan as it relates to this document.</li>
<li>The employee will be required to be onsite or immediately available to respond to the Federal Security Checkpoint to assist those officers in enforcement of the Federal Security Directives on prohibited items brought through the TSA checkpoint. A police officer must deal with discovery of criminal violations or the disruption of checkpoint operations.</li>
<li>The successful candidate needs a working knowledge of managing a video surveillance system, utilized to record instances that may affect the security of the airport. This system must be monitored and reviewed daily for violations of the Airport Security Program</li>
<li>Responsible to monitor sterile area exit lanes for security compliance.</li>
<li>Responsible for managing the control point access gate and door system. Controlled access is an essential part of the Airport Security Program for compliance with TSA regulations.</li>
<li>Must maintain a current peace officers license, update and maintain all current and updated laws that pertain to the operations of the Airport Police. This includes up to date initial and recurrent training and retention of training records.</li>
<li>Coordinate with Airport Management to develop a budget to ensure police and security requirements are met. This will include uniforms, equipment, training needs to maintain the peace officer certificate, maintenance of indoor and outdoor camera systems, controlled access systems, and a perimeter fence with remote gates.</li>
<li>Assists airport staff with all aspects of FAR Part 139 requirements. Including but not limited to the Airport Emergency Plan, Airport Certification Manual, wildlife control, airfield inspections, perimeter checks, firearms training, etc.</li>
<li>The employee will be responsible for coordination of local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies for any criminal investigations or airport emergencies.</li>
<li>Hours: Guaranteed 40 hours a week with overtime as needed: may include shift work; must be willing and able to work holidays, nights, and/or weekends as needed.</li>
<li>Regular and timely attendance is required.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:

Responsibilities

<li>Under the direction of senior-level staff, assist in designing and developing construction plans for bridges, highways, interchanges, and drainage projects</li>

Requirements

<li>Civil Engineer with proven experience (&gt; 10 years) with LNG tanks</li>
<li>Professional experience: several years of proven experience in EPSCC stages of LNG projects, including</li>
<li>The candidate must also have basic knowledge of welding, NDT, and Corrosion.</li>
<li>Good teamwork and previous team Management are preferred.</li>
<li>Knowledge of project development in Oman and methods used to submit dossier to state expertise, permitting process, technical approval, Omani norms, and standards, are all either an advantage or to progressively acknowledge and incorporate.</li>
<li>Fluent in English</li>

<li>The project will develop in Oman, a regional hub for LNG bunkering service to ultimately supply LNG as fuel to marine vessels.</li>

Jurisdictions under the Ontario County Department of Human Resources include Ontario County, its Cities, Towns, Villages, School Districts, the Finger Lakes Community College and the Board of Cooperative Educational Services.
A civil service exam is required for Typist/Office Specialist I and applications are accepted on a continuous basis. Applications received or postmarked by the first Wednesday of the month will sit for the exam on the third Wednesday of the month.
Residency Requirements: Candidates must have been legal residents of Ontario, Livingston, Monroe, Seneca, Steuben, Wayne, or Yates County for at least one month immediately preceding the examination date.
Minimum Qualifications: Either:
1. Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma; OR
2. One year of clerical experience that involved typing.
