The Mental Health Specialist in this position will provide crisis assessments to individuals in need as well as case management, resource identification, and referral options. Typical Duties - Duties include, but are not limited to the following
Counseling to Crisis Clients: Provide counseling by telephone or in-person to individuals and/or their families or concerned others. Intervene with both children and adults. Presenting problems covering the full range of personal needs and include thoughts/plans or violence toward others, and major psychiatric illness. Because of the wide spectrum of presenting problems, it is necessary to have a comprehensive knowledge of psychopathology and to be able to draw upon a wide range of therapeutic strategies in counseling. This work is done at two different locations each day (at the Salem Hospital Emergency Dept. and at PCC), so driving is required.
Assessment of Mental Status: Perform independent assessment of mental status, diagnosis, level of functioning, dangerousness, and specific needs for service. Screen individual for psychiatric hospitalization.
Planning Development: Develop plan with client/family to address immediate needs and plans to obtain services. If client is unwilling to seek services, make decisions regarding involuntary commitment based on dangerousness and ability to care for self.
Community Coordination: Maintain current knowledge of, and contact with, community agencies in order to make referrals appropriately. See that clients gain access to the services they need, and do follow-up work as needed, to make certain that client's needs are being met.

<li>Advocacy for Client's Rights: Provide advocacy for client rights, ethical consideration, needs for service and least restrictive care-intervention.</li>

Normal working hours for this position are 1st Shift Monday - Friday from 6:00am - 2:30pm. Position Summary: The operation of high speed equipment used in the production and packaging of VITEK 2 cards in a cGMP environment. Perform or assist in setup, operation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting and cleaning equipment. Responsible for completing production batches and corresponding documentation, AQL inspections, reworks, and material reconciliation. Contribute to building a positive work environment. Position Responsibilities:

<li>Execute production activities per approved Manufacturing Directions while maintaining compliance with all job related SOPs.    </li>
<li>Ensure that all batch paperwork is completed in an accurate, thorough, and timely manner.  </li>
<li>Execute validation protocols associated with manufacturing/packaging equipment and procedures including revalidation as required to maintain systems in a validated state.</li>
<li>Provide assistance with the review and revision of Manufacturing Directions and SOPs necessary for the manufacture and packaging of product.</li>
<li>Certified in operation of at least one high speed manufacturing equipment efficiently and effectively, in some cases highly automated, using HMI/SCADA interfaces.</li>
<li>Engage in cage movement, maintain product segregation, retrieve and organize raw materials, and ability to learn fork truck operation.</li>
<li>Follow appropriate departmental cleaning procedures to ensure adequate cleaning of the manufacturing areas.</li>
<li>Setup high speed manufacturing equipment, within defined tolerances, to ensure product runs are started on time and within established guidelines.</li>
<li>Comply with all safety policies and procedures at all times.</li>
<li>Appropriately use PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) as required to perform routine and non-routine duties.</li>

Education, Skills &amp; Experience:
