The primary purpose of this position is to provide an excellent and positive dining experience to our owners and guests at the Harbor Club, pool and during special events. This includes from include verifying age requirements, knowing alcohol pairing and tastes in order to give recommendations, processing payments, managing inventory and cleaning bar supplies. Essential Functions and Responsibilities

<li>Ensure that all laws are applicable to beverage operations are consistently followed. </li>
<li>Assist with promotional strategies and materials; develop recipes to improve the beverage program. </li>
<li>Stopping liquor service may be necessary due to overindulgence.</li>
<li>Demonstrate knowledge of wines paired with food, beverage specials, proper liquor pouring, and beer offerings.</li>
<li>At the end of each schedule shift, empties trash and recycle, cleans equipment, cleans all bar surfaces, restocks glasses and supplies, secures all alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and deposit closeout of the bar register.</li>
<li>Maintain on-going communication and collaboration with all staff with the aim of achieving high levels of cooperation and service excellence.</li>
<li>Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bar areas, glassware and equipment. </li>
<li>Keep current with changing owner and guest preferences and industry trends relative to the beverage operation. </li>
