Position: Trial Court Assistant Starting Salary: Pay Grade 13 - starting salary $20.47 per hour. Work Hours: 40 hours a week Closing Date: Posting will close May 30, 2024 or when filled, whichever comes first.

GENERAL PURPOSE
Perform a variety of full performance level, technical clerical, legal secretarial and administrative duties as needed in support of the Seventh Judicial District Trial Court Administrator's office and Bonneville County Court Operations Manager, across a broad number of court work areas and the operational functions of those offices. 

SUPERVISION RECEIVED
Work under the shared supervision of Court Operations Manager and the Seventh Judicial District Trial Court Administrator.

SUPERVISION EXERCISED
As directed by supervisors, may have authority and accountability for the delegation of day-to-day tasks to other staff members.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Act as initial point of contact for Trial Court Administrator's office. Respond to or direct calls and inquiries to appropriate personnel. Assist with statistical reporting, professional correspondence composition, schedule travel for Judges and court personnel in the Seventh Judicial District. Coordinate and manage language access needs, including training and support for court clerks throughout the Seventh Judicial District. Specifically coordinate language access interpreter or translation services for court operations in Bonneville County. Schedule and manage complex coverage needs for Senior Judges, Court Reporters and other court resources and assist them in preparing, gathering, and submitting documents for expenses.
Assist Court Operations Manager, as directed, with court user financial business processes, procedures and assist with deposits and balancing clerk's tills including Checks, Credit Cards, and cash. Reconcile chase bank statements with E-Payment and E-filing tills. Process complex financial adjustments, bonds, and refunds in court operating system. Assist with processing month end distribution and troubleshooting any discrepancies. Work closely with the clerk auditor's office and Idaho Supreme Court as needed. 
Act as a Deputy Court Clerk for assigned duties, including processing documents and filings in court case management system for judicial reassignments, generate reports and statistics and assist in auditing clerk functions within the systems for accuracy and training purposes. Assist with training throughout the district as needed.
Create and maintain a variety of confidential computerized and hard copy files and records as directed by supervisors. Prepare and process claims and assist in maintaining records of expenditures in a variety of Funds for Bonneville County and the Seventh Judicial District 10 County Trust Funds. 
Bonneville County has an expectation that employees maintain regular, reliable patterns in their work product and attendance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Education and Experience:
 A. Graduation from high school with course background in general office practices and procedures plus one (1) year of post-high school education or technical training in a legal occupation or related field;
AND
 B. Four (4) years of progressively responsible work experience in court operations;
OR
 C. An equivalent combination of education and experience.

2. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Working knowledge of basic court procedures, preferably with an understanding of court management systems; English composition, spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc.; telephone etiquette; standard office equipment operation; computerized word processing, equipment, and programs; computerized data base management and program applications; spreadsheet uses and applications.

Ability to maintain confidentiality, learn and understand in a short period of time complex aspects of court operations; prepare technical reports, documents and agreements; learn and use proprietary court and financial software; analyze a variety of routine court operations issues and problems and make determinations relative to solving issues and/or referring to the proper person for resolution; communicate effectively verbally and in writing; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with judges, attorneys, executives, department heads, employees throughout the organization, coworkers and the public; work independently and deal effectively with stress caused by work load, management/supervisory relationships and time deadlines. 

Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to be proactive and a self- starter to assist in problem solving court operations issues as directed by supervisors. Ability to handle a variety of complaints and difficulties presented by clerks, customers and patrons and assist them in a professional, respectful manner to problem solve specific issues.

4. Work Environment:
Work is performed in a typical office setting with appropriate climate controls. Tasks require a variety of physical activities, not generally involving muscular exertion, but do require physical activities related to mobility, sitting, reaching, talking, hearing and seeing. Common eye, hand, finger dexterity is required to perform essential functions. Mental application utilizes memory for details, verbal instructions, emotional stability, critical thinking and guided problem solving.

MATERIAL CONTROL CLERK

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for performing an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders form stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse. Provide impeccable customer service to US Rod customers.
Specific responsibilities may include:

POSITION SUMMARY
The Food Service Clerk provides superior customer service in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. This position is responsible for greeting customers, preparing sandwiches, taking customers' payment, and creating a positive, energetic atmosphere for the customers.
CORE FUNCTIONS OF POSITION
Provides exceptional customer service.
<ul>
<li>Welcomes customers to the store and assists customers with questions.</li>
<li>Prepares food for both in-store and commissary food orders.</li>
<li>Takes payment using POS system. Accurately rings up all sales and able to process cash and credit card purchases.</li>
<li>Develops personal ongoing relationships with customers.</li>
<li>Answers the telephone and assists callers using proper phone etiquette.</li>
<li>Addresses customer concerns and resolves issues when a customer is not satisfied with the service or product received.</li>
<li>Deliver outstanding product and customer hospitality, while developing customer loyalty. Promptly and professionally address customer comments.</li>
</ul>
Communicates and works cooperatively with Food Service Manager to maintain department standards.
<ul>
<li>Ensures clean work environment is clean: Keeps prep counter and floor free of food and garbage, keeps dining room area clean, washes dirty dishes, and performs daily cleaning duties.</li>
<li>Follows Little Ceasers' and DMG's guidelines, including food handling and safety procedures in the restaurant.</li>
<li>Always makes the best use of time and resources; seeks ways to reduce costs.</li>
<li>Prevents loss by knowing and complying with DMG's safety rules.</li>
<li>Identifies the sequence of tasks and the resources needed to achieve a goal, and prioritizes key action steps.</li>
<li>Anticipates the impacts and risks of decisions and actions.</li>
</ul>
Contributes to overall team readiness
<ul>
<li>Orders and displays signage to ensure all products are properly priced.</li>
<li>Assists in achieving projected sales goals and controlling both labor and food costs.</li>
<li>Assists in maintaining and auditing food and non-food inventory levels in accordance with company guidelines.</li>
<li>Completes opening and closing duties.</li>
<li>Assists management with receiving and storing of food items and supplies.</li>
<li>Makes appropriate decisions in a fast paced environment. (side work, station plan, etc.).</li>
<li>Performs all other duties as assigned by the Food Service Manager and/or General Manager.</li>

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

<li>Customer-service experience preferred.</li>

<li>Lifting and carrying up to 60 pounds on an occasional basis.</li>
<li>Frequent stopping, bending, squatting, kneeling, walking, reaching turning, climbing stairs/ladders.</li>
