Position Summary:
As the Authorized Inspector, you'll play a crucial role in our team by performing inspection functions on all Company aircraft and engines, ensuring adherence to Company policies and procedures, as well as aircraft maintenance manuals.
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer's service bulletins, and Company Operations Specifications.</li>
<li>Complete required inspection items (RII) as listed in the Company General Maintenance Manual.</li>
<li>Review maintenance paperwork, work items, pilot reports, and deferred maintenance items to assess the aircraft's airworthiness before release.</li>
<li>Stay updated on manual revisions, policy changes, and federal regulations.</li>
<li>Suggest improvements to maintenance policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Report airworthiness or safety-related concerns.</li>
<li>Operate as Flight Mechanic as needed.</li>
<li>Identify hazards and report through the hazard reporting systems.</li>
<li>Foster a positive and productive work environment.</li>
<li>Perform other assigned duties.</li>

Position Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Valid FAA mechanic’s certificate with both airframe and powerplant ratings.</li>
<li>Three years of experience with the same aircraft model.</li>
<li>Completion of forty hours of general familiarization class (instructor-led) on the same aircraft model.</li>
<li>Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.</li>
<li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.</li>
<li>Valid passport and ability to travel internationally without restrictions.</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license with a clear record.</li>
<li>Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening, background check, and TSA clearance.</li>

Language and Communication Skills:

<li>Potential work in confined spaces and extended stays on/with aircraft, including overnight.</li>
