TheExecutive Director of DTH Media Corp. develops a strategic plan andoversees the editorial and business operations of the company,working hand in hand with the organization’s student leaders tomanage the day-to-day operations of the DTH while steering theorganization to a sustainable future. 
The Daily Tar Heel has covered the UNC-Chapel Hill community for131 years, training students and serving as a model for journalismexcellence and independent college media sustainability. DTH MediaCorp. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that has evolved from a newspaper to amodern media organization, still producing a print product but alsocovering news every day through its digital and socialchannels.
The DTH spent the last few years transforming the way it makesmoney, moving from dependence on print advertising revenue to a mixof print and digital advertising, public support, and revenue fromits 1893 Brand Studio, a marketing services agency. The BrandStudio, like every part of the DTH, is led by and staffed bystudents. The Executive Director manages professional staff to helpguide and support the students, but ultimately allow them to makedecisions.
Our open-office environment is fast-paced and flexible, andhouses The Daily Tar Heel, 1893 Brand Studio and DTH businessoperations. The professional staff work among talented UNC studentsfrom these entities each day and enjoy proximity to UNC’s campusand Franklin Street businesses. 
The Executive Director is asked to do many different things,including but not limited to:
<ul>
<li>DeterminingStrategy: Plan for the long-term success of the DTH in away that promotes its core mission, and communicate it to keystakeholder groups.</li>
<li>ExecutingOperations: The Executive Director must carry out theorganization’s vision and set priorities, determining a budget andmanaging cash flow, running the office day to day, and supervisingthree professional staff members. That also includes projectmanagement, shepherding news and revenue products from ideas toreality.</li>
<li>Raising Money:Fundraising, including grant writing, is now the largest singlepiece of the DTH revenue puzzle. Fundraising has been a majorgrowth area for the DTH in recent years, and the Executive Directorneeds to maintain existing campaigns while leading the next stageof development.</li>
<li>Guiding Students:Mentor student journalists, ad sales reps and creative staff.Students should feel the Executive Director is their biggest fanbut someone who will tell them when they fall short and who candirect them to other resources and support systems at theuniversity.</li>
<li>Building Community:Form new relationships and nurture existing ones with our alumni,important stakeholders in our community and other leaders instudent media. The Executive Director plans events, attendsconferences and community events, and represents DTH Media Corp. inthe public sphere.</li>
<li>Leading Media: TheDTH is a national leader in student media, and the ExecutiveDirector provides continuity in leadership from year to year, whilestaying on top of industry trends and applying those lessons to theDTH.</li>

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experiencein media or equivalent experience in a dynamic profession,including time managing people. Experience managing in a nonprofitorganization is strongly preferred. Familiarity with student media,such as experience as an adviser or previous work at your collegenewspaper, would be helpful. Experience working with collegestudents, either in a teaching or advising capacity, is also aplus.

The Shrine currently offers 24 weekly Masses and 19 hours of confession. In preaching, prayers, adult formation, and spiritual counseling, the Shrine fosters Christian discipleship "in the marketplace" by reaching out and welcoming people to deepen their relationship with God and with one another.
In addition to the Masses, the Shrine has over 20 outreach and evangelical ministries, managed and supported by 26 Friars and 35 lay staff members. These include:
• Father Mychal Judge Recovery and Counseling Center: A substance abuse counseling and retreat ministry for individuals and families as they journey toward recovery from addiction. The Center offers individual or group substance abuse counseling, and also pastoral support and assistance for individuals seeking to complete Fifth Step work. There are also recovery retreats for 12 Step groups covering various topics including recovery spirituality, mindful meditation, and relapse. The Center also has additional services for people not in recovery: psychotherapy for people experiencing anxiety, depression, loss, family crisis, and other mental health and emotional issues. Therapy is offered through couples counseling, family counseling, and individual counseling. • The Lazarus Ministry: Providing proper and dignified burials and funerals for those who die homeless, abandoned, or with no known next-of-kin. The Lazarus Ministry does not discriminate and has served many people of different religions, recent immigrants to the United States, and homeless veterans. The Franciscan Food Center: The Center feeds people who are hungry by providing high-quality and nutritious food in a client-choice setting and creating a community in an environment of dignity, compassion, and respect. • LGBTQ+ Spiritual Ministry: A community of faith where LGBTQ+ Catholics, as well as their family and friends, can explore and express their Catholic spirituality and grow in hope with one another. About the Opportunity
The Shrine is the beneficiary of a very generous and loyal donor base. Total philanthropic revenue is in the annual range of $4.5-$5 million through the support of more than 8,000 donors. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Chief Development Officer (CDO) is a strategic fundraising advisor to the Executive Director and is responsible for identifying and developing strategic partnerships and opportunities that will advance the mission of St. Anthony Shrine. This includes coordinating relationship building to raise the profile and involvement of St. Anthony Shrine within the Greater Boston business community, city, and state government, as well as with key Catholic and non-Catholic philanthropists; ever mindful to advance the mission and to build a culture of philanthropy.
The CDO inspires, motivates, and engages individual and institutional prospects and donors to make impactful gifts, developing and managing a portfolio of 100+ prospects with the capacity to make five-plus-figure gifts, and creating and executing innovative cultivation and stewardship activities.
The CDO participates in strategic planning and budgeting initiatives in addition to problem solving, and works within the guidelines, policies, and mission of the Shrine. The CDO will manage a staff of three.
Key Responsibilities Leadership
• Lead the organization, its members, donors, and community stakeholders to foster a culture of philanthropy for the Shrine. • Identify strategic organizational initiatives to meet program funding, in collaboration with the Executive Director and Department/Ministry Directors, i.e., Franciscan Food Center, The Rita A. DiMento Medical Clinic, Father Mychal Judge Recovery Center, etc. as well as capital funding such as the generator, lobby doors and security, lobby renovation, etc. • Create and sustain a volunteer Advisory Council, to work in collaboration with the Executive Director through service on such subcommittees including: Mission, Philanthropy, Marketing and Communications, etc. similar to the existing Finance Committee. Manage the volunteer leadership of this advisory group and strive to engage volunteer leaders and prospects in programmatic areas. • Represent the Shrine at community events with donors, corporations, foundations, and government entities to create greater community awareness of the Shrine. • Provide guidance and coaching to the Executive Director and Guardian in the art/skill of cultivation, soliciting and stewarding Major, Leadership, and Planned Gifts. • Provide professional expertise and direction in all aspects of fundraising to key leadership volunteers and employees. • Collaborate with the Manager of Marketing and PR to strategize and develop key messages. About the Position
Reporting to the Senior Director of Advancement, the Director of Annual Giving (the "Director") is responsible for the design, strategy, and implementation of The Taft School annual fund program. The Director will join a highly collaborative team, working with key staff, campus-wide partners, and volunteers to implement a strategic annual fund program to maximize Taft community philanthropy.
This position will supervise the Assistant Director of the Annual Fund, the Leadership Annual Gift Officer, the Annual Giving Coordinator, and will have the ability to hire one additional member of the team. The Director will have the opportunity to assess and set forth a plan of action for a group of 500+ Class Agents and will also work with a robust and exceptional Parents Committee.
Taft is seeking a Director who will think strategically and bring an analytic approach to the annual fund, with an ability to better integrate the fund into the overarching development program. The ideal candidate will have a respect and appreciation for independent school values, bring strength in leadership to guide the annual fund team and program, and have strong experience and interest in working with volunteers. This position will require 4 days per week in the office at Taft, with 1 day of remote flexibility possible.

• Strategically develop, manage and implement the Taft School annual fund program

Today, BIDS is part of the new College of Computing, Data Science and Society (CDSS), where it serves as a hub for interdisciplinary research, tool development, and exchange of ideas between methodologies in computing, statistics and AI. Fundraising at Boundless Israel
Philanthropy is a critical and increasing facet of the organization's operations and success. Boundless Israel is sustained primarily through the support of a select group of foundation funders and a small number of individual donors. In the past year, Boundless Israel has seen philanthropic revenue more than double, primarily in response to the war in Israel; fundraising has increased from just over $1M annually to $2M. With a strong base of foundation funders and a growing list of promising new prospects to engage and cultivate, Boundless Israel is committed to expanding its fundraising program.
 Philanthropic revenue supports four key pillars of work:
•Countering Online Antisemitism: Boundless Israel partners with leading experts in data, polling, and communications to better understand the trends and spread of misinformation online. Boundless Israel uses these findings to make actionable recommendations to funders, community leaders, educators, policy makers, and partner organizations to mitigate the harms of online antisemitism.
• Opinion Polling: In light of the escalating rates of harassment and violence targeting Jewish communities in the United States, we must deepen our understanding of people's perceptions and knowledge of antisemitism so that we can more effectively formulate strategies to combat its proliferation. Boundless is studying the root causes, misconceptions, and historical contexts surrounding this age-old hatred and partnering with community leaders to develop targeted interventions that foster greater societal awareness and a safer, more inclusive society. Boundless utilizes research to inform communication efforts about issues of antisemitism in America and the Oct. 7 War.
• Research: Boundless Israel has built an online repository to house research papers on Israel and antisemitism. These materials are broadly accessible, easily searchable, and digestible to practitioners in the Jewish community. This comprehensive research center builds a culture of information-sharing and embeds data-driven strategies into the work.
• Education: Boundless provides educational programming on the subjects of Israel and antisemitism, with a particular focus on addressing the system level challenge of building the capacity of educators with content, context, and confidence to lead and engage educationally. Its founders are thought leaders who frequently contribute to the discourse through presentations, op-eds, and media interviews.
There is tremendous potential for fundraising growth at Boundless Israel. The Director of Development will maintain and expand upon the current cohort of foundation funders and begin to build an individual giving program with a focus on major gifts. This is an opportunity to lead a successful foundation program, introduce new funders and donors to the organization, and make a difference in a bold mission combating antisemitism around the world.
About the Position
Reporting to and working closely with the co-founders of Boundless Israel, the Director of Development will be responsible for building a fundraising program that will sustain the tremendous growth seen in the past year. It's expected that the Director of Development, in collaboration with the co-founders, will raise a minimum of $2.5M annually for the next 1-2 years and develop a comprehensive program for growth, expanding to diverse donor audiences in the next 5 years.
The Director of Development will oversee efforts to maximize funding from family and institutional foundations and proactively seek new funding opportunities, cultivate relationships with foundation officers, and monitor compliance with applications, reporting, and administration. They will be responsible for writing and submitting all grant applications. The Director of Development will also regularly research and identify new prospective funders.
This position will also identify, cultivate, and solicit best prospects from current individual donors and craft communications strategies to keep donors informed and engaged, and to attract new donors. The Director of Development will build the infrastructure for the nascent development program, including donor communications, gift processing and acknowledgement, and data management.
Key Responsibilities 
The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about the opportunity to build and shape a program for foundation and individual donors in grassroots, mid-level, and major giving. The new Director of Development will understand and implement a moves management system and be motivated to connect donors with the programs and impact they care about most.
• Work closely with the co-founders of Boundless Israel to set annual philanthropic revenue goals and strategy. Write, review, and submit grants; track and oversee grant reporting. • Manage and build relationships with current funders, as well as research, identify and qualify new opportunities. • Identify best prospects from current individual donors and develop strategies for cultivation and solicitation; build and manage a portfolio of mid-level and major gift donors, closing a set number of gifts annually to meet revenue goals. • Increase and expand giving from individuals by creating and implementing strategies for identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. • Effectively cultivate and steward all donor and funder relationships. • Develop donor-centered communications and fundraising materials to foster giving. • Maintain accurate donor information and build the infrastructure for development program, including gift processing and acknowledgement, data management, and donor communications
Key Qualifications 
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant frontline fundraising and grant writing experience, and/or foundation relations experience. • A demonstrated track record of success in generating significant grant revenue (5-figures and above) from foundations. • Experience in building individual, mid-level, or major gift programs preferred. • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to meet deadlines, plan, and balance multiple competing priorities. • Ability to craft coherent, organized, and compelling proposals and reports. • Experience in an action-driven, entrepreneurial team environment; self-motivated and collaborative. • A strong commitment to Boundless Israel's mission to combat antisemitism and re-imagine Israel education.
