<li>Infusion of IVIG, SCIG, Alpha 1 anti-trypsin products, Biologic Response Modifiers, and enzyme replacement products in the home setting. Administration and training of injectables to patients in the home care setting.</li>
<li>Coordinates the planning for delivery of nursing care with the Director of Nursing and administers appropriate clinical decisions in the delivery of patient care. Proactively updates client/patients’ POC, health changes, and other related incidents.</li>
<li>Demonstrates knowledge of age-specific differences in the patient population including physiological and developmental differences unique to each group.</li>
<li>Ensures safe care to patients; adheres to all policies, procedures, and standards, including time management, supply management productivity and quality of service</li>
<li>Willingness to travel within assigned geographic region. Flexibility to work alternate shifts on short notice and can be on call for field visits as determined by business needs.</li>
<li>Administers CPR and other emergency procedures, as necessary.</li>

The Treatment Coordinator’s main job responsibility is to clearly explain treatment options and related costs. The Treatment Coordinator is a liaison between the surgeon and the patient and assists in the gathering of information in the new patient experience, as well as coordinating a treatment plan with the surgeon and presenting it to the patient. S/he are knowledgeable about the treatment and timelines, and they are prepared to negotiate financial arrangements with the clients. The Treatment Coordinator provides a calm and warm environment for patients who are otherwise anxious and concerned about how to afford dentistry.
Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:

<li>Be present during comprehensive exams to understand patient treatment needs. When necessary, be present during re-care exams to understand patient treatment needs.</li>

<li>Prepare and maintain an unscheduled treatment report: anyone who had a treatment plan who hasn’t scheduled in the past 3 months, send a letter in the mail.  </li>

<li>Other duties
<ul>
<li>Support the billing department with ensuring patients are up to date on their financial obligations. Proactively communicate with the back office so they know any changes in the patient’s financial status.</li>

The Dental Group at Polaris in Lewis Center Ohio seeks a knowledgeable Front Desk Patient Coordinator to join our team. As a Patient Coordinator, you will greet our patients, verify their insurance, and assist in managing the dental administrative tasks necessary to operate a successful dental practice. You will demonstrate top-notch customer service and develop patient rapport by exemplifying leadership. If you have experience working in a dental office, providing exceptional patient care, and delivering flawless service, we'd love to hear from you.
Compensation:
$20 - $25 hourly
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Provide excellent customer service and grow patient relationships</li>
<li>Oversee all non-clinical tasks of the office</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with administrative duties</li>
<li>Have knowledge of dental insurance and codes</li>
<li>Maintain key holder responsibilities</li>
<li>Give treatment presentations to patients</li>
<li>Possess proficiency in dental software</li>
<li>Schedule patients as top priority</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Must have at least 1-2 years of Dental experience</li>
<li>Knowledge of Dental procedures</li>

Tuesday: Remote Phone Answering via Mobile App 
Wednesday: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
Thursday: Remote Phone Answering via Mobile App 
Friday: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Sunday: Off

Essential Functions

<li>Answering phone calls with a smile to welcome new and current patients to our practice</li>
<li>Proficient with verifying patient insurance</li>
<li>Creating treatment plans - scheduling the appropriate order of recommended treatments and managing patient insurance to ensure sufficient coverage</li>
<li>Collecting payment and discussing financials with patients, including creating in-house payment plans</li>
</ul>

Technology, Skills, &amp; Certifications

<li>Previous Dental Front Desk Experience Required</li>
<li>Prior knowledge of Open Dental software is a plus, but not required</li>
<li>Experience with dental 3rd party lending software is a plus, but not required</li>
<li>Experience in clear aligner therapy and implants is a plus, but not required</li>
