We are looking for a compassionate personal care assistant to support clients living with physical, emotional, and/or cognitive impairments. Your duties will include performing basic housekeeping duties, assisting with personal hygiene, and providing companionship.
To ensure success as a personal care assistant, you should possess experience in a similar role and knowledge of the best practices in providing personal care. Ultimately, a first-class Personal Care Assistant will be someone who prioritizes the wellbeing of clients and demonstrates a caring approach.
QUALIFICATIONS:

<li>Must have completed Personal Care training and competency.</li>
<li>Have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and elderly.</li>

<li>Assist with prescribed exercises when the client and the aid have been instructed by the appropriate health professional.</li>
<li>Record and report changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior or appearance to the supervisor or the coordinator.</li>
<li>Document services delivered in accordance with Home Care policies and procedures. </li>

LIFTING REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to perform the following tasks if necessary:

 There are some individuals that are case by case basis where they have as little as 4 hours per day.
