Position Summary
This position is for a part-time or full-time pharmacy technician. The pharmacy technician will work as part of a team to assist the pharmacist and other technicians in dispensing medications to patients safely and accurately. They will oversee the pharmacy's inventory and its associated sourcing and reports. The in-clinic pharmacy is a closed-door pharmacy serving only patients who are seen by the in-clinic prescribers. It manages and maintains all medications prescribed for outpatient use and in-clinic administration.
Principal Responsibilities:

<li>Process prescriptions and prepare medications to be dispensed using professional standards and abiding by State and Federal Laws.</li>
<li>Interact with patients and clinic staff to process prescriptions.</li>
<li>Interact with patients in a fair, accurate, impartial, and culturally sensitive manner to provide excellent customer service.</li>
<li>Problem-solving to remove barriers between patients and their prescriptions. </li>
<li>Manage inventory through acquisition, returns, monitoring, and monthly reports.</li>

<li>Answer phone and fax.</li>

Qualifications:

<li>Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License in the State of Utah.</li>

<li>Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer proficiency.</li>
