Position Summary
The Development Director should be an experienceddevelopment professional ready to lead two major fundraisinginitiatives, an endowment campaign and our major giving program,for our organization to galvanize the resources we need to advanceour mission. For this role, we require a Bachelor’s Degree as wellas prior development experience in the major giving space. We alsoexpect that you are skilled at and enjoy building relationshipswith others, specifically with our donors and prospective donorswithin our community, and that you are a strong communicator, bothverbally and in writing. It would be a plus if you have experiencemanaging campaigns, are familiar with our mission, and can producecompelling written and digital materials.

About the Opportunity
Synergos is seeking an experienced Managing Director, GlobalPhilanthropists Circle to lead our network of philanthropists, acritical and growing arm of our organization.
This position is a full-time role reporting to the CEO and is akey member of the leadership team. The Managing Director willmanage the Global Philanthropists Circle, a global network withmembers from 30 countries that supports values-drivenphilanthropists and social investors to better address systemiccauses of poverty and inequity. They will oversee and supervise aglobal team with functions including planning, project management,budgeting and financial management, staffing, mentoring,resourcing, marketing and evaluation. Key Responsibilities
Strategy and Operations

<li>Lead a process to clarify the value proposition, futurestrategic direction and sustainable business model of our work withphilanthropists.</li>

Program and Business Development

Team Management

Qualifications

Clinical Assistant Professor in Nursing

Position Description
The Department of Sociology at the University of Washington invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor specializing in the study of housing and/or homelessness. Positive factors for consideration include, but are not limited to: a promising record of scholarly accomplishment; research interests that complement other areas of departmental and university strength; promise of effective undergraduate teaching and graduate training; and potential for engagement with professional, university, and community life. All University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research, and service.
The Department of Sociology is located on the Seattle campus of the University of Washington. We are a collaborative and generous scholarly community with an outstanding track record of mentoring junior scholars and a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Washington State Law requires that this ad list a binding salary range.&nbsp;The base salary range for this position will be $9650 - $13500&nbsp;per month on a 9-month basis ($86,850 - $121,500 annually), commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination.&nbsp;
The position will begin on September 16, 2024, and is full time with a 9-month service period.
Qualifications
Applicants must have a Ph.D., or foreign equivalent, in sociology or closely related field by the start of the appointment.
