As our Production Technician, you will perform field work independently. You'll be provided a company vehicle, as you will be driving to various field locations everyday. Frequent use of light hand tools and equipment associated with the operation of upstream oil and gas facilities required. Standard and specialty tools specific to work requirements will be provided by Riverside.
 
Weekday work hours (generally 7:30 am to 4:00 pm) with scheduled rotation of weekend work and evening/overnight on-call. Must be self-motivated to consistently maintain facilities and flexible to perform discrete project goals safely and in a timely fashion. Safety equipment - this is a safety sensitive position, therefor proper PPE is required at all times.

Work Environment

Ideal candidate will be able to collect data and analyze the information to develop solutions for effective problem solving. Ideal Candidate must be able to work with any individual receiving SIRS services regardless of lifting requirements, client behavior, and personal care requirements and must also have the following skills:

Duties:
 Manage on-call system during assigned shift.
<ul>
<li>Provide resource and information to direct service personnel.</li>
<li>Update schedule due to unplanned absences.</li>
<li>Coordinate coverage due to call-offs- providing emergency backup if other personnel are not available.</li>
<li>Provide emergent coverage in residential setting when needed.</li>
<li>Carry out administrative and quality review duties during assigned 12 hour shift.</li>
</ul>

<li>Assigned to SIRS Office location or Community/Residential site for quality assessment, observation, etc.</li>
<li>Administrative duties: filing, Reviewing time entered in CASPer software time management system</li>

Qualifications:

Founded over 100 years ago, HMC is an international contender in the large gear manufacturing industry, complete with the most cutting edge CNC machine technology in the world that allows us to manufacture gearing up to 8 meters in diameter.Our invaluable CNC Machinists work with the most advanced technology to cut chips for some of the largest gears in the world. As a custom job shop, every day brings a diverse set of challenges and successes.
 
Responsibilities for our CNC Machinists include, but are not limited to:
<ul>
<li>Machine Setups</li>
<li>Programming on Machine Tools</li>
<li>Adjusting and reprogramming controls</li>
<li>Operate large CNC mills and lathes</li>
<li>Maintaining specifications, tolerances, and quality requirements when performing drilling, grooving, and cutting, turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing</li>
<li>Troubleshooting programming and process errors</li>
<li>Perform preventative maintenance for assigned machines </li>
<li>Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and calipers</li>
<li>Follow work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters, and interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&amp;T)</li>
<li>Maintain specifications, tolerances, and quality requirements when performing drilling, grooving, and cutting, turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing, measurements, interpreting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls, replacing worn tools; sharpening tools, and adhering to quality requirements, procedures, and processes</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Associates Degree or Higher in CNC Machining; or</li>
<li>Three years of directly-related CNC machine work experience</li>
</ul>
 
Position Requirements

<li>CNC Machining experience</li>
<li>Ability to basic math functions</li>
<li>Ability to read, write, and comprehend G and M code</li>
<li>Ability to read and understand blueprints</li>
<li>Must be mechanically inclined</li>
<li>Detail-oriented</li>
</ul>
 
This position can be exposed to heat, cold, fumes or airborne particles, debris such as metal shavings, loud noise, vibration and moving mechanical parts. Protective gear such as earplugs, safety glasses, steel toe footwear, and gloves are required. The physical demands of this position include vision, hearing, manual dexterity, standing or walking for long periods, reaching, bending, lifting and carrying up to 50lbs, climbing, kneeling, crouching, crawling, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
