Our whole health centered dental practice redefining dentistry by focusing on functional care and the power of a healthy smile has an immediate need for a dynamic and motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our clinical team.&nbsp; The ideal candidate will be a team player and have a calm and reassuring demeanor with exceptional communication skills.
Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Perform thorough dental cleanings (including SRP) with attention to patient comfort.</li>
<li>Conduct periodontal charting and monitor gum health for long-term outcomes.</li>
<li>Utilize dental technology daily, including laser therapy, iTero scanning, and digital radiographs (2D and 3D).</li>
<li>Apply preventive therapies such as fluoride, sealants, or remineralization agents.</li>
</ul>
Patient Education &amp; Advocacy
<ul>
<li>Educate patients on the link between oral health and full-body wellness, including airway health.</li>
<li>Personalize hygiene instruction based on each patient's lifestyle and goals.</li>
<li>Support anxious or sensitive patients with calm and compassionate communication.</li>
</ul>
Functional and Airway-Focused Support
<ul>
<li>Assist in collecting diagnostic data (e.g., CBCT scans, bite assessments, myofunctional screenings).</li>
<li>Collaborate with the clinical team to develop integrative care plans.</li>
<li>Screen for tongue ties, airway obstructions, and sleep-disordered breathing indicators.</li>
</ul>
Team Collaboration
<ul>
<li>Communicate clearly with doctors, assistants, and admin staff to ensure smooth patient experiences.</li>
<li>Contribute ideas in team meetings and participate in ongoing education.</li>
<li>Maintain a commitment to innovation and best practices in holistic care.</li>
</ul>
Clinical Support
<ul>
<li>Keep detailed, HIPAA-compliant records.</li>
<li>Ensure all instruments and operatories are properly sterilized and prepared.</li>
<li>Track and order hygiene-related inventory as needed.</li>

Qualifications &amp; Skills

·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Registered Dental Hygiene license (required).
·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program required.
