We are seeking two additional Evening Registered Nurses to enhance our Detox and Withdrawal Management program.
These positions are designed to provide additional support to our teams, ensuring a balanced workload and improved patient care. As an RN in our program, you will deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to individuals experiencing addiction challenges. As well as, work with an interdisciplinary team of LPNs, Clinical Assistants, and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors. Shifts are either evenings or overnights with weekend rotation, and will be regular hours except during the training period.&nbsp;
Summary:
This individual performs medical administration for patients of the Center of Alcohol and Drug Treatment. Oversee medical care of patients and promote optimal health and refer patients needing a higher level of care. Manage difficult patients and oversee LPNs and other support staff as needed.

<li>Assist the Licensed Practitioner with history and physicals.</li>
</ul>
Establish and implement procedures for the provision of nursing care and delegated medical care, including:
<ul>
<li>a health monitoring plan;</li>
<li>a medication control plan;</li>
<li>training and competency evaluations for staff performing delegated medical and nursing functions;</li>
<li>handling serious illness, accident, or injury to patients;</li>
<li>an infection control program; and</li>
<li>a first aid kit;</li>
<li>delegating nursing functions to other staff consistent with their education, competence, and legal authorization;</li>
<li>assigning, supervising, and evaluating the performance of nursing tasks; and</li>
<li>implementing condition-specific protocols in compliance with section 151.37, subdivision 2.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>This individual must have a certificate in nursing from a college or technical school.</li>
<li>Must be a current Registered Nurse certified by the Minnesota Board of Nursing</li>
<li>Must be CPR and First Aid certified or obtain it before direct patient contact.</li>
<li>Must pass background studies issued by the Minnesota Department of Human Services.</li>
<li>Must know and understand the requirements of 245F, sections 245A.65, 253B.04, 253B.051, 626.557, and 626.5572, and chapter 260E.</li>
</ul>
Hours: This position is designated for the 2nd shift, 2:45pm-11:00pm with weekend rotations. Compensation and Benefits: We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package to support your health, well-being, and professional growth.
