ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You will provide critical post-op care to patients recovering from anesthesia, helping ensure a smooth and safe transition to the next stage of their recovery.
Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>
Deliver individualized, one-on-one bedside care to post-operative patients in PACU
</li>
<li>
Monitor vital signs including heart rate, blood pressure, respiration, oxygen saturation, and consciousness level
</li>
<li>
Assess and manage pain, nausea, and other anesthesia-related side effects using clinical judgment and protocols
</li>
<li>
Evaluate surgical sites for indications of bleeding or complications
</li>
<li>
Administer medications and interventions to stabilize patients as needed
</li>
<li>
Document patient condition, progression, and discharge teaching using EMR
</li>
<li>
Coordinate handoff and communicate effectively with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and multidisciplinary team members
</li>
</ul>
Requirements
<ul>
<li>
Active RN license
</li>
<li>
Minimum of 12 years of recent PACU or critical care experience
</li>
<li>Completed ADN or BSN degree </li>
<li>
Must maintain certifications: BLS, ACLS, plus any facility-required credentials
</li>
