Our Gastroenterology section is seeking an Advanced Endoscopist as part of a planned expansion.&nbsp; Expertise in bariatric endoscopy and/or ESD are preferred.&nbsp; Our section serves a 357-bed tertiary referral center with opportunities for outreach into surrounding communities. The facility features an outpatient endoscopy unit and side by side clinic with 8 endoscopy suites.&nbsp; &nbsp;An IM hospitalist service manages all GI admissions and GI functions as a consultative service. Eleven NPs/PAs and six General GI Physicians support outpatient management of IBS, IBD and liver disease and the inpatient GI consultation service.&nbsp; This position can accommodate subspecialty interests and provides a 1: 3 call schedule.

Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with a strong emphasis on prevention, diagnosis, and management of cardiovascular conditions.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Perform and interpret non-invasive cardiac tests, including echocardiography, stress testing, nuclear cardiology, CCT, and CMR.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Collaborate with colleagues to create personalized treatment plans for patients.</li>
<li>Participate in teaching and mentorship opportunities with residents and medical students, shaping the next generation of physicians.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Engage in quality improvement initiatives and have the option to contribute to clinical research if desired.</li>

Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
·Board-certified or board-eligible in cardiovascular disease.&nbsp; 
·Expertise in non-invasive imaging modalities.&nbsp; 
·cardiac CT would be desired and CMRI reading would be plus
·Eligible for medical licensure in Minnesota.&nbsp; 
·A strong commitment to patient care and clinical excellence.
Compensation

<li>$674,640.&nbsp; Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.</li>

General Information
Essentia Health offers a 1-year fellowship for Family Medicine physicians who desire advanced training in Obstetrics subsequent to medical practice in rural locations.
<ul>
<li>Six Months of training will be dedicated to management if routine and high-risk obstetrics, developing competence inoperative deliveries and Cesarean section, and expanding skills in ultrasound, newborn resuscitation/stabilization, and colposcopy.</li>
<li>Curriculum consists of: 24 weeks obstetrics, 12 weeks outpatient primary care, 8 weeks emergency medicine/trauma/critical care and 4 weeks electives.</li>
<li>The fellow will also participate in education of University of Minnesota medical students and Duluth Family Medicine residents.</li>
<li>Positions offered: 1-2</li>
<li>Annual Stipend will be paid</li>
</ul>
Prerequisites for Acceptance

<li>Completion of a 3-year ACGME or AOA accredited family medicine residency</li>
