<li>Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.</li>

<li>Implements the nursing process by delivering effective relationship based nursing care.</li>

<li>Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes.</li>
\n
<li>Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical operations.</li>

<li>Develops self and contributes to the professional practice of nursing.</li>
\n
<li>Displays leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes.</li>
\n
<li>Performs other duties as assigned.</li>

<li>Complies with all policies and standards.</li>
\n
<li>For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.</li>

<li>Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.</li>
\n
<li>Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.</li>
\n
<li>This position is full time 40 hours per week.</li>
\n
<li>100% travel to the patient's homes to provide care.</li>
\n
<li>The territory is the North Olmsted area in the West Market.&nbsp;</li>
\n
<li>this position is in Home Care Services.&nbsp;</li>
\n
<li>Must have a valid ODL.&nbsp;</li>
\n</ul>

Sign-on Bonus:&nbsp; This position is eligible for a&nbsp;$6000 sign-on bonus&nbsp;to eligible candidates.&nbsp; Eligible candidates must be newly hired to UH and have at least 1yr of RN experience.
\n
University Hospitals is offering a&nbsp;$6,000 sign on bonus,&nbsp;minus applicable taxes, for designated regular full-time RN positions to experienced RN’s (1 years or more) hired externally.
\n
Internal Applicants are not eligible for the sign on bonus.
\nQualifications
<ul>\n
<li>Other Accredited Program: Diploma in Nursing or</li>
\n
<li>(ADN) Associate's Degree in Nursing required.</li>
\n
<li>(BSN) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.</li>
\n
<li>(MSN) Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.</li>
\n
<li>Knowledge of nursing process and practice.&nbsp;</li>
\n
<li>Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed clinical therapies (i.e. stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices.&nbsp;</li>
\n
<li>Registered Nurse (RN), Ohio and/or Multi State Compact License Required Upon Hire and</li>
\n
<li>Basic Life Support (BLS) Required Upon Hire.</li>
\n
<li>Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) May be required based on the clinical care standards of the unit. Refer to ACLS/PALS Unit Requirements document found on DWP Nursing Portal to determine requirements by unit.</li>
\n
<li>Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) May be required based on the clinical care standards of the unit. Refer to ACLS/PALS Unit Requirements document found on DWP Nursing Portal to determine requirements by unit.</li>
