Overview:
The Sr. Production Manager will provide leadership and direction to a team of Production Managers across 2-Shifts to ensure&nbsp;Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Key KPI’s are achieved across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity. The Sr. Production Manager will plan and oversee production output and ensure capacity is in place to meet customer demand. As a Key member of the Plant Leadership Team, the Sr. Production Manager will collaborate with peers to promote a culture of continuous improvement down to our frontline team-members routed in Safety &amp; Stability, while working to support development into a world-class manufacturing organization.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership
<ul>
<li>Promote a Work Environment where Safety and Stability are prioritized above all metrics.</li>
<li>Oversee a group Production Area Managers across Welding, Machine Shop, Paint, and Assembly responsible for delivering shift-level schedule adherence, delivery, and productivity.</li>
<li>Ensure proper spans of control are in place from Production Managers, Group Leaders, and Team Leaders enable a culture of continuous improvement across all team-members.</li>
<li>Foster and environment where Leaders are Teachers continuously looking for ways to implement and improve standardized work; continuing to develop capabilities of Production Managers, Group Leaders, and Team Leaders to drive problem solving and continuous improvement to the shop-floor team-members.</li>
<li>Develop a culture of “Stop, Call, Wait” through the Production Team and drive a sense of urgency to quickly respond to abnormalities, implementing countermeasures while working to address Root-Cause of Activities.</li>
<li>Working with Production Managers, evaluate, coach, and develop skills and capabilities of Group Leaders. Ensure Group Leaders have the skills and capabilities required to achieve World Class Manufacturing operations across the business.</li>
<li>Develop Skills Matrix to create flexible workforce and training plans for employees. Partner with Production Mangers and HR to ensure proper training procedures are in place for new hires to ensure successful on-boarding.</li>
</ul>
Production &amp; Performance Management
<ul>
<li>Ensure shift-by-shift production targets are achieved; work closely with Production Schedulers to define daily plans, and Production Managers to ensure staffing in place to meet daily goals while minimize Overtime.</li>
<li>Develop tools and systems to track and share daily / weekly capacity availability (hours) by workcenter; collaborate with Scheduling Team to ensure targets are set to meet delivery and productivity metrics.</li>
<li>Maintain and evaluate performance against Key KPI’s in areas of responsibility; ensure action plan and accountabilities are in place to meet stated goals.</li>
<li>Working closely with Sr. Manager, Manufacturing Engineering work to ensure standardized work is in place across the facility, with accurate cycle times maintained in SAP to ensure capacity, scheduling, and cost targets are achieved across the facility.</li>
<li>Ensure Production Managers and Group Leaders are auditing standard work, ensure team-members adherence to the standard to avoid workarounds.</li>
<li>Promote Visual Factory enabling easy abnormality detection; ensure 5S across the facility as a means of supporting visual management and promotion of safe workplace.</li>
<li>Lead Daily Gemba Walk across the business; ensure area boards are maintained and up-to-date, with key issues identified, owners and due-dates assigned and followed up on.</li>
<li>Drive a sense-of-urgency across the business focused on solving problems for our frontline team-members.</li>
<li>Work Closely with Sr Manager, Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance Manager to ensure equipment is maintained and performing to standard.</li>
<li>Ensure Quality to Customer is never compromised; collaborate with the Plant Quality Manager to build a culture of Quality across the operation.</li>
<li>Work with Sr. Manager, Planning &amp; Inventory Control to Develop Rolling 4-Week “Master Schedule” to improve ability of business to execute against plan, and minimize disruptions to the operation.</li>
</ul>
Capacity Planning
<ul>
<li>Working Closely with the Sr. Manager, Planning &amp; Inventory Control and the Demand Planner, evaluate the capacity and ability to meet the expected sales forecast.</li>
<li>Maintain the Staffing Budget for each Production Department, working closely with Production Managers to ensure staffing plans are in place to support forecasted sales growth. Own development &amp; management of annual staffing budgets working with VP of Manufacturing Operations.</li>
<li>Own and maintain the plant capacity model; update the capacity model as new equipment and/or operational improvements are identified. Share improvements with the Demand Planner on a monthly basis.</li>
<li>Evaluate Capacity in 3-month, 6-month and 12+ month buckets. Partner with the Sr. Manager, Manufacturing Engineer to ensure plans are in place to address any capacity constrained areas before impacting customer spanning both Process Improvements &amp; Capital Investments.</li>
<li>As necessary, participate in Monthly SIOP meetings to present plant capacity and capabilities.</li>

 Continuous Improvement
<ul>
<li>Partners with Plant Leadership team to drive the implementation of Continuous Improvement &amp; Lean Manufacturing change program across the production operation. Monitor, report and communicate progress.</li>
<li>Actively create a culture in which Continuous Improvement becomes organizational values to create a competitive advantage.</li>
<li>Promote Learn-by-Doing Approach; ensure Group Leaders are continuously looking for ways to improve the standard and implementing improvements as part of their day-to-day work.</li>
<li>Assesses cost effectiveness and feasibility of manufacturing processes; makes and implements recommendations to reduce costs and improve efficiency working together plant leadership team.</li>
<li>Consults with production leadership and shop associates concerning process improvements.</li>

INTRODUCTION
Under the supervision of the Health Center Director, the Patient Care Coordinator (Internal &amp; Family Medicine) is responsible for the recruitment of, outreach to and the navigation and coordination of services for vulnerable patients living with complex health needs. The position serves as an integral member of an inter-professional care management team working alongside medical providers, nurse care managers and social service staff to meet the needs of our patients. The position performs outreach and navigation services in a variety of Washington, DC settings, including the hospital, primary care clinics, patient homes, homeless shelters, and various other community settings.
MAJOR DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 
Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
<ul>
<li>Utilizes strength-based patient-centered motivational interviewing techniques to build rapport and help patients improve their health.</li>
<li>Participates in the development, maintenance, and adjustment of individualized care plans for high-risk patients that address both medical and social barriers to accessing care.</li>
<li>Acts as a professional liaison between hospitals, primary care providers, specialists, community resources and Managed Care Organizations on behalf of patients to ensure patient-centered care coordination.</li>
<li>Identifies and track special populations including high-risk patients and other populations due for preventive or chronic care services.</li>
<li>Helps patients obtain the care they want and need, when they need it, which may include: assistance with financial/insurance options, solutions for transportation and translation services, and/or removal or resolution of other barriers to care. </li>
<li>Identifies and track patients discharged from the inpatient service or the emergency department.</li>
<li>Utilizes team-based communication strategies to close the loop on referrals, hospital follow-ups and any outstanding items identified in the patient’s care plan.</li>
<li>Supports the primary care team by providing panel management to decrease the number of patients lost to care, non-compliant in follow up care and disconnected from primary care. </li>
<li>Performs outreach activities in primary care sites, homes, hospitals, and neighborhoods. </li>
<li>Identifies which appointments may be made for patients before leaving the clinic and strive to coordinate care before they leave (e.g., mammogram and/or specialists).</li>
<li>Identifies opportunities to close gaps in care.</li>
<li>Works with inter-professional team members to identify barriers to care with the goal of finding solutions and resources to remove the barriers to care.</li>
<li>Assists patients with navigating the healthcare system including but not limited to working with pharmacies, social service agencies, and insurance agencies as well as internal services such as the lab and other discharge processes.</li>
<li>Participates in interdisciplinary case conferences and team meetings.</li>
<li>Provides culturally appropriate health education.</li>
<li>Provides cultural mediation between communities and health and human needs.</li>
<li>Communicates patient-related needs to appropriate clinical staff including those on the patients care team as well as those providing care coordination and care management services. </li>
<li>Acts as liaison between patient and Primary Care Medical Home in resolution of problems or referral of appropriate resource.</li>

Internal &amp; Family Medicine Specific Duties:
<ul>
<li>Responsible for the recruitment of, outreach to and the navigation and coordination of services for medically-complex and vulnerable patients. </li>
<li>Serves as a member of an inter-professional “overlay” team composed of a Registered Nurse (RN) and a Site Program Coordinator. The team collectively manages care for difficult-to-reach patients and those that have higher levels of acuity, either because of health status or due to frequent utilization of the hospital system. </li>
<li>Supports the development and implementation of care coordination processes alongside care management team including but not limited to Registered Nurses, Social Service staff and My Health GPS program staff.</li>
<li>Manages a panel of complex, high-risk patients that are not well connected to care through outreach, scheduling of appointments, sharing in appointment visits and follow up of specialty visits.</li>
<li>Provides care coordination and navigation of services for patients following ER visits and hospitalization.</li>
<li>Performs home visits to recruit and maintain relationships with patients in need of coordinates care; complete community and home-based follow-up visits as needed.</li>
<li>Perform community-based outreach activities and working with referring providers in a clinical setting.</li>
<li>Builds positive rapport with staff on care teams.</li>
<li>Mentors site-based Care Coordinators to improve quality of services delivered to patients.</li>

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or GED. College coursework in business or health-related field is preferred.</li>
<li>Two (2) years of experience providing care coordination service. Experience in a hospital and/or community/outpatient setting is preferred.</li>
<li>Experience working as a part of an inter-professional team.</li>
</ul>

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

· Testing downhole equipment using Aquila testing software, Vibrometer, Hi-Pot, Megometer, Ohmmeter

· Examine parts for conformance with dimensional specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
