Location: Henrico area of Richmond, VA Position Overview We are a reputable CPA firm seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Manager with CPA or EA certification to join our team in a hybrid work environment. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with tax regulations, providing strategic tax advisory services, and managing client relationships effectively.
We are looking for a Tax Manager that can review and sign returns. There will be a leader of the office already in place. We are a smaller team and expect candidates to work onsite during busy season and then more hybrid.&nbsp;
We are looking for proven experience in tax review and consulting for individual, corporate, and partnership clients. Key Responsibilities

<li>Oversee and manage all aspects of tax compliance and reporting for individual and corporate clients</li>
<li>Conduct thorough tax planning and research to provide strategic advice to clients</li>
<li>Ensure adherence to IRS regulations and stay updated on changes in tax laws</li>
<li>Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance</li>
<li>Conduct audits and reviews of tax filings and financial reports as needed</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with clients to address their tax-related inquiries and provide guidance</li>
<li>Develop and implement tax strategies that align with clients' financial goals</li>
<li>Collaborate with other departments to ensure integrated tax planning and compliance</li>

Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field</li>
<li>Active CPA or EA certification is required</li>
<li>Minimum of 5-8+ years of experience in public accounting, tax, and taxation</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of IRS regulations and tax laws</li>
<li>Proficiency in financial reporting and auditing</li>
<li>Proficiency in UltraTax, Practice CS software, or CCH</li>
<li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a hybrid work environment</li>
