We are presently seeking an individual who will assist the New Home Senior Project Manager in lot modifications and lot preparations for new home setups. This role will have a “home-base” out of the Wausau, WI&nbsp;area with 60% travel to a portfolio of communities’ located in Wisconsin.&nbsp;
As a New Home Project Manager, you will:

<li>Accurately complete all assigned home site surveys in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Manage permitting and utility compliance for completion of home installations in assigned region.</li>
<li>Completing site walkthroughs to determine scope of work for installation of new homes.</li>
<li>Managing all aspects of new home installation process including home delivery, site prep and home setup.</li>
<li>Daily management of site prep and home setup vendors to ensure quality, timely and safe completion of projects.</li>
<li>Training vendors on current standards of new home installations to ensure vendor compliance.</li>
<li>Daily travel to assigned communities to ensure consistent presence on site and inspections of homes.</li>
<li>Maintain strong working relationships with Community Operations in assigned region.</li>
<li>Effectively communicate status all new home infills with Community Operations.</li>
<li>Follow all company and new homes division policies and procedures at all times.</li>

Job Requirements

<ul>
<li>A minimum of 3 years of project management or similar experience, preferred but not required.</li>
<li>Bachelor’s Degree preferred; HS Diploma or GED required.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of physical facilities, including construction renovation.</li>
<li>Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with all levels of personnel.</li>
<li>Ability to develop and negotiate proposals and contracts with vendors and other project partners.</li>
<li>Advance skill with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.</li>
<li>Detail orientated with strong organizational, time management, problem-solving, multitasking, and follow-through skills.</li>
<li>Valid operator’s license and reliable transportation.</li>

Under the direction of the Department Manager, the Extrusion Press Hot Saw Inspector (Extrusion B) ensures the production of company products at the highest quality and at the lowest possible cost, meeting company policies and procedures. The Extrusion Press Hot Saw Inspector (Extrusion B) will act in a manner that is consistent with Gordon Aluminum’s Customer 1st Philosophy.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities 
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time. 
 
The general purpose of the Extrusion Press Hot Saw Inspector (Extrusion B) is to work as part of the extrusion team, running the extrusion saw safely and efficiently. 
 
<ul>
<li>Operates the extrusion saw in a safe productive manner, making sure to not overload part cradles or damage parts during the stacking process.</li>
<li>Measure and examine extruded products during routine quality checks with the intent to locate defects and check part conformance to specifications found on blueprints.</li>
<li>Determine setup procedures according to specifications and document any inconsistencies or changes.</li>
<li>Perform daily and weekly preventative maintenance on the extrusion saw and press area. (Ex. Monitor oil levels, change and replace worn tooling, basic cleaning).</li>
<li>Accurately use ERP system to document machine rates, scrap rates, material usage to facilitate an efficient and lean production environment.</li>
<li>Communicate within the team or organization using email to discuss changes in production schedule or machine issues.</li>
<li>Operate cranes and forklifts to move raw material and tooling when needed.</li>
<li>Be able to perform duties and responsibilities of Extrusion C as needed to cover vacation, absences, breaks, etc.</li>
</ul>
