GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION The Senior Technician is a heavy equipment mechanic that specializes in the modernization and repairing of cranes. This position may perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and upgrades; as well as solving complex problems when the crane malfunctions. This position must encompass self-sufficiency, leadership abilities, effective communication and professionalism in an effort to lead field technicians and be the liaison between HCSG management and customers. The Technician position works in a safety-first type of environment. HCSG is a 24/7 service company that requires technicians to be available on-call and provide after hour or even weekend services as required due to customer needs. DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul>
<li>Must be able to be on-call and provide after hour services as required.</li>
<li>Troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and upgrading industrial hoists and cranes in the field at customer locations.</li>
<li>Train and mentor field technicians</li>
<li>Perform OSHA required hoist and crane inspections and generating inspection reports and repair orders.</li>
<li>Communicate with the Service Manager and Branch Manager during the day so that work can be scheduled and completed on a daily basis.</li>
<li>Consult with customers regarding all repair and safety related issues and discuss recommendations that will assist the customer with improving their services.</li>
<li>Maintain all company issued equipment, vehicle, and assets in a safe and proper working order.</li>
<li>Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles in a safe and responsible manner. Notify immediate supervisor of any deficiencies.</li>
<li>Maintain supply of HCSG forms and miscellaneous materials in the company vehicle.</li>
<li>Maintain the ability to work with others in team environment.</li>
<li>Attend company provided trainings and seminars as required.</li>
<li>Participate in HCSG 5 Marks program</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>

PHYSICAL DEMANDS The work is labor intensive. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a daily basis. Must be able to lift up to 100lbs on a rare basis. This position requires 90% of frequent climbing, balancing, stooping/crouching, overhead reaching, bending, squatting and prolonged standing and sitting. It requires occasional pushing, pulling, kneeling, and crawling. The position also involves great hand and eye coordination. Heights exceedingly over 50 feet from time to time are normal to incur on a daily basis to maintain a crane. Employee will be required to travel from time to time (20-50%) and must be willing to work various shifts to accommodate needs of HCSG branches and customers. This includes on-call and overtime. Travel out of town may be required at the discretion of the company. WORK ENVIRONMENT Work is normally performed inside or outside (pending customer requirements) with varying degrees of extreme hot and cold temperatures depending on the weather. During summer months, temperatures can exceed 120 degrees. This position will be frequently exposed to noise, heights, fumes, dust, and odors. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

<li>At least 5-7 years of crane repair &amp; maintenance experience
<ul>
<li>At least 3-4 of years electrical and/or mechanical experience in lieu of crane repair &amp; maintenance experience.</li>
</ul>

<li>Must have a valid drivers license and acceptable driving record</li>
<li>Must always commit to working and driving safely</li>
<li>Must be willing to work off the ground at various heights</li>
<li>Must have basic computer skills to work with web-based crane inspection programs</li>
<li>Must be able to communicate well with others and work independently or as a team</li>
<li>Knowledge of hand tools and/or possess hand tools</li>
</ul>

Automotive Technician - Certified

<h3>Job Description</h3>
1. Read machine assembly drawings and electrical schematics to identify machine malfunctions in mechanical and electrical systems
2. Adjust mechanical assemblies and control systems to correct machine malfunctions
3. Design and fabricate metal product for production equipment.
4. Work with maintenance department managers to analyze machine failures and develop plans to reduce downtime
5. Analyze test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators in order to diagnose equipment problems.
6. Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters and other testing devices.
7. Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear.
8. Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
9. Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery.
10. Assist in the installation new and used equipment as instructed by manager
11. Upgrade existing equipment as instructed by manager
12. Help in writing and revising PM checklist and procedures for assigned equipment
13. Training of junior level mechanics.
14. Perform preventive maintenance of equipment
15. Identification of spare parts
16. Documents all work performed daily.
17. Submit purchase order request for parts.
18. Responsible for performing other tasks as instructed by Supervisor or Manager.
