Automotive Technician / Mechanic

Job Overview:
This brand-new state-of-the-art facility is scheduled to open in July 2024. Interviews will begin in June 2024.
We are looking for technicians/mechanics who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what’s right for our guests.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
<ul>
<li>Technicians use their knowledge &amp; skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our guests&nbsp;</li>
<li>Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles</li>
<li>Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections</li>
<li>Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively</li>
<li>Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization</li>
<li>Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate guest concerns&nbsp;</li>
<li>Work together with other Technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results</li>
</ul>
 Qualifications 
Qualifications:&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests</li>
<li>3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic</li>
<li>ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve</li>
<li>Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles</li>
<li>Meet or exceed hourly goals</li>
<li>Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes</li>
<li>Professional appearance and strong communication</li>
<li>A desire for long-term career development</li>
</ul>
Physical Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds</li>
<li>Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head</li>
<li>Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair</li>
<li>Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools</li>
<li>Walk/stand for the majority of their workday</li>
<li>Drive manual transmissions vehicles</li>
<li>Efficiently navigate a computer</li>
</ul>

Shop Foreman / Lead Automotive Technician

Job Overview:
The Shop Foreman / Lead Technician is responsible for maintaining workflow and work distribution among technicians. This role works closely with the Service Manager to oversee the quality of work on customer vehicles and shop efficiency.&nbsp;
We are looking for technicians/mechanics who are energetic, upbeat and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what’s right for our customers.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
<ul>
<li>Work with the&nbsp;service department to distribute work to technicians</li>
<li>Manage and oversee individual technician workloads and overall workflow in the service area</li>
<li>Oversee technician team progress through internal training requirements and coach&nbsp;&nbsp;technicians to prepare for&nbsp;certifications</li>
<li>Train and mentor new technicians&nbsp;</li>
<li>Help other technicians diagnose and repair vehicles when necessary (i.e., misdiagnosis, employee development, etc.)</li>
<li>Conduct quarterly technician performance touchpoints to establish and monitor the progress of career goals and employee performance</li>
<li>Manage technician team-building opportunities&nbsp;</li>
<li>Educate technician team to uphold brand and quality standards of the&nbsp; team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively</li>
<li>Manage and maintain shop supplies and equipment&nbsp;</li>
<li>Monitor bulk fluid levels</li>
<li>Monitor shop efficiency through technician hours reports and ticket audit process</li>
<li>Manage scan tool subscriptions</li>
<li>Distribute shop housekeeping tasks among all technicians by&nbsp;promoting&nbsp;our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization</li>
<li>Manage and oversee technician work schedule</li>
<li>Enforce safety regulations and protocols&nbsp;</li>
<li>Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate customer concerns and assist with customer complaint resolution when necessary&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
 Qualifications 
Qualifications:&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>Positive attitude and a desire to serve customers</li>
<li>7+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic</li>
<li>Excellent automotive diagnostic skills</li>
<li>A strong investment in tools</li>
<li>Ability to Flag 30+ hours per week - depending on shop needs</li>
<li>ASE A1-A8 Certifications required, Master L1 preferred</li>
<li>Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles</li>
<li>Meet or exceed hourly goals</li>
<li>Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes</li>

<li>A desire for long-term career development</li>
</ul>
