Location: RemoteJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $43 - 48 per hourWe have an exciting opportunity for a skilled WordPress Admin and Developer to join our client's team!As a WordPress Admin and Developer, you will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing their WordPress site while ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, a creative mindset, and a knack for problem-solving.This is a remote, part-time role with an estimated 20 hours a week of work. Responsibilities:Manage the administration of website content and change requests and performing various website content updates.Implement and manage multiple government websites using WordPress, including the back-end development.Add, create, and maintain client content information in WordPress.Review web content, links, and design, provide necessary updates for broken links and updated content and enhancements as necessary all while adhering to mobile compliance standards.Liaise between the website developers and project management staff for the required updates.Conduct user testing and use analyses to assess effectiveness of the site and discuss usability issues internally with the lead content administrator or project manager.Offer site recommendations or improvements to the internal team.Customization of WordPress Theme templates, layouts, and styles (PHP, HTML, CSS).Optimize WordPress theme to ensure high performing, mobile-first user experience/responsive design.Review and manage plugins for functionality and performance.Troubleshoot and correct layout and/or performance issues.Backup, creation, transfer, and restoration of WordPress websites and databases.Add new users to platforms or accounts and assist with access issues.Document processes and procedures for general system tasks to support business continuity.
Qualifications:
