Apply with Award Staffing today, and let's pave the way to your dream job in the vibrant Twin Cities area. About the Opportunity:∙ Job Title: Wood Worker (1 or 2)∙ Pay: $19-$23/Hour∙ Location: Maple Grove, MN∙ Schedule: 1st Shift, Mon-Fri 6:30AM-3PM Daily functions:

1. Build and assembly custom doors and frames
2. Install wood, metal and glass kits into wood doors
3. Operate saws, Nailers and cutting machines
4. Use hand tools in assembly process 
5. Measure and use basic math while making doors 
6. Operating machinery to assemble products
7. Operate forklift

 Desired qualifications:

1. Must be able to read a tape measure 
2. Good attention to detail and good mechanical aptitude 
3. Previous experience using nail gun, saw, planer or sander preferred (not required)
4. Prior trade experience or other wood working preferred (not required)
5. Forklift experience preferred (not required)
6. Intermediate understanding of drawings and templates  preferred (not required)

Physical requirements:

1. Lifting 10-50lbs regularly and 100lbs occasionally 
2. All day on your feet including; bending, squatting, kneeling, pushing and twisting 
3. Use hands and fingers to operate hand tools
