Position Overview

The Field/Technical Administrator - SIS will be responsible for providing technical and administrative support for a large Energy and Infrastructure Renewal Program at Dartmouth College. Opportunity to support and further organize the group, as well as learn about the implementation of the design and construction of a multi-year energy program. Exciting, fast paced environment where creativity and interest are primary qualifications. Organizational and computer skills are required, as are curiosity, energy and a desire to grow.

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Managers in the administration of projects.
  • Provide technical support across a variety of initiatives.
  • Manage calendars of multiple team members across different platforms
  • Support existing and new initiatives.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives internally and externally
  • Participate in strategic development of the group
  • Maintain and update project websites.
  • Manage communications
  • Compile data required for regular reporting into consistent format
  • Assist project managers in assembling the reports.

Job Skills & Abilities:

  • Computer knowledge and proficiency, including Microsoft Office products
  • Interest in LEAN and other process improvement technologies
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to function and contribute in a team environment
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Dependability

Education and/or Experience

College Degree – no particular major or specialization required. We are seeking a creative team member who will contribute and grow. Engineering and/or construction experience a plus
