Senior Accountant- New York, NY- Analyze & prep cash recons & complx fin stmt, incl bal sheets, income stmt & other reps for fin auditing. Use soph spreadsheet techq & complicated fin & acctg principles to analyze monthly prepaids, accruals & other cost rel items. Gather & analyze fin & op data to dev initiatives for imprv effic & overall eff of co's fin & acctg ops. Perf ad hoc rep & exec acctg & auditing projs that req comprhnsv data analysis. Perf month-end closing proced incl fin stmt prep, cash & pos recons, entering income & expense accruals, prep capital alloc sched & perf reporting & acctg respons assoc with reg & non-reg entities. Asst with prep of external acct audits & prep info & doc req'd in conn with glbl tax ret filings. Req's: Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Econ, Fin Acctg, or a related field, plus 2 yrs of exp in pos offered or as Staff Accountant, or rel exp. All req'd exp must have incl: Exp gen key reps for fin auditing. Exp writing data analytics & reporting scripts using SQL to auto fin audit testing thru relational DB mgmt sys. Exp using following tech skills: Power BI, Alteryx & SQL. CPA licensure. Employer will accept any amt of prof exp with req'd skills. Salary Range: $119k-135k.
