As a Sample Specialist, you will be responsible for tracking merchandise coming into the studio, unpacking, organizing, and logging the merchandise into the sample tracking software while ensuring all product is ready for the photography production process.
The role is responsible for ownership over multiple categories of business to manage the requests, logistics and communication of samples with the aim of reducing Not Available to Sell (NATS) inventory, increasing item count throughout, reducing time to site, and reducing cost per item.
The ideal candidate will be experienced, detail oriented, organized, and will demonstrate comfort with ambiguity.Responsibilities:Responsible for the physical organization of the sample locations including organizing samples by category and creating projects.Check the accuracy and quality of samples from vendors, track, and report issues to Sample Management Lead.Manage sample logistics (unpack, track, and pack), verification, discrepancies, late samples, and missing samples via communication with marketers.Responsible for sample liquidations and donations including organizing samples by category.Maintain the check-out process throughout all the studio platforms after a 1 week hold of samples.Organize items returning back to the warehouse for sample holding.Maintain spreadsheets and systems to update status of merchandise for multiple parties.Work with studio workflow management tools.Communicate with internal and external teams, including vendors, merchants, and Prop House to determine ultimate sample locations (i.e; RTV, RTM, store, or liquidate).Collect merchandise after the photo process is completed.Build a donation contact list for liquidations, and Quarterly liquidation.Coordinate samples according to return instructions from Merchants or Marketing Team regarding sample sharing or holding.Identify and resolve roadblocks in the workflow.
Qualifications:
