PREPAREDNESS COALITION COORDINATOR
The Franklin Regional Council of Governments (FRCOG) seeks an outgoing
and experienced Coalition Coordinator to serve the work of the Western
Massachusetts Health and Medical Coordinating Coalition (HMCC). FRCOG’s
HMCC program facilitates public health and medical emergency
preparedness and response activities across the four westernmost
counties of Massachusetts.
We’re looking for someone with
strong organizational and communication skills, a proactive approach to
stakeholder engagement, and the ability to manage multiple tasks
simultaneously. Key responsibilities: Coordinate meetings/events, engage
stakeholders, provide project support, and assist with regional
emergency response coordination. The ideal candidate has excellent
communication/facilitation skills, an ability to obtain/synthesize
information from a variety of sources to draw conclusions, and comfort
reaching out to new people/organizations to establish effective working
relationships. Above all, the successful candidate is self-motivated,
curious, and able to multitask. Requires 1-2 evening or weekend
meetings/wk, and 24/7 on-call duties roughly 1 wk/mo. Full-time,
salaried position starting at $30.48 per hr or $59,440 annually
(negotiable), w/ a comprehensive benefits package.
