Mechanic’s in Minneapolis, MN | $60K to $75K/Year
Our Mechanic’s workweek is Monday to Friday with hours starting at 8:00 am until 4:30 pm. This job is a Skilled Industrial type position that that pays $60K to $75K/Hour and is a Direct Hire opportunity.
Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities –- Responsibilities include but are not limited to inspecting, servicing, diagnosing, and repairing aerial lift and telehandlers.- Primary responsibility is to service the company’s rental fleet, as well as some customer owned equipment.- Minimum 2 years of experience as an aerial/heavy equipment mechanic or related work experience required.- Knowledge/clear understanding of gas and diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems.- Ability to perform annual inspections on aerial equipment.- Ability to read and understand electrical/hydraulic schematics.- Capable of troubleshooting a wide variety of equipment.- Provide excellent customer service.- Complete service reports after repairs are made. May perform other related duties as requested and/or assigned.- Capable of working independently and with little supervision.- Ability to stay on task and complete repairs in a timely manner.- Must be a self-starter, well organized and able to work in a fast- paced environment.- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis- Capable of working in a safe manner in the shop, or field.- Great work ethic and desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced industry.- Computer literate and proficient with programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required. - Minimum High School diploma or equivalent required.- Must possess a valid driver’s license with clean driving record.- Automotive and Industrial Maintenance Technicians encouraged to apply.
Mechanic Requirements and Qualifications –- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily- 2 years related experience and/or training- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts- Effectively communicate and understand job instructions in the English language- Computer literate and proficient with programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required. - Minimum High School diploma or equivalent required.- Must possess a valid driver’s license with clean driving record.- Manufacturer training (i.e. JLG, SKYJACK, Genie or Haulotte)- Technical School Training (i.e. Hydraulic Systems, Diesel Engines, Electrical Repair)
