Material Handler in Bloomington, MN | $20 | Material handling experience required Job: Material Handlerin Bloomington, MNA material handler identifies, transports, removes, and disposes of materials throughout the facility doing it efficiently and safely. A Typical Day Includes:
- Delivering materials to and from the work centers as needed by the production team
- Utilize our ERP system to analyze the bill of materials and methods to stage and move work in progress to the appropriate operation, and perform all transactions on the computer; experience with Epicor is a plus
- Pulls material as required for production orders while maintaining organized locations
- Maintain accurate inventory balances and ensure accurate material transactions
- Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition
- Follows all safety policies and procedures in the performance of duties. Utilizes good practice methods for continuous improvement
- Observe all safety requirements, including proper use and wear of PPE; safety glasses to be worn at all times while in the plant
- Be a certified Forklift driver
- Ability to measure, read prints along with basic mathematical skills and following work instructions to identify and verify parts
- Support Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing processes
