Janitor – Part-time

We need a janitor who loves to clean! 

If shiny chrome and reflective surfaces make you happy, if keeping supplies stocked brings you fulfillment, and if the smell of cleaning supplies bubbles up cheerful notions, then we want to talk with you!

LC Staffing is hiring for a janitor who will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of a local dealership’s facility.

Pay:  $18 to $25 hour, depending on experience

Schedule: 

• Monday through Friday
• 4 hours a day/20 hours per week
• Weekend and after business hours may be available

Essential Duties:

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas of the dealership, including showroom, service, and shipping areas
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and kitchenettes
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly
• Dust and wipe down surfaces, including windows, counters, and desks
• Clean and maintain the exterior of the dealership, including the parking lot and sidewalks
• Replenish supplies, such as paper towels and toilet paper
• Monitor inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be reordered
• Follow established safety procedures when using cleaning equipment and supplies
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisor

What you need:

• High School Degree or equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license 
• Clean driving record
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred
• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
