We are looking for an immediate long-term contract opening for an Inside Sales in Seattle, WA for our client in a Cargo facility.
The ideal candidate is an ambitious & detail-oriented individual who can work under supervision in a fast-paced warehouse cargo environment.
Pay: $20 to $25
Responsibilities:
- Phone and email communication with customers for potential business
- Completion of verbal discussions with customers back in writing
- Ensure requested bookings of shipments are compliant with regulations for all countries
- Origin countries, transit countries, and destination
- Submission of quotations per customer requests and meeting perimeters as outlined.
- Ensure calculated for profitability compliance
- Identify potential opportunities and communicate with management
- When the Customer indicates the type of movements required ·
- Follow up with customers on Quotations given
- Anticipated ship dates o If unsuccessful, pricing difference, solicit feedback ·
- Follow up with smaller customers on potentials and opportunities or find their niche
- Finding the right product for Customer Needs and upselling to the next level when possible
- Ensure load ability Checks are completed on non-standard cargo with authorized agents for check ·
- Assist in updates of customer information as needed in the IT database ·
- Actively promote eChannel usage in communications with Customers
- eBooking and eAWB
- Ensure the manager advised when a Customer’s non-performance issues are below standard
- Outline issues for management review and resolve ·
- Quality Check of GHA duties when assigned or required or Report to management ·
- Perform support duties as assigned or required Qualifications
Requirements:
Education: GED/High School desired Experience
Airline experience preffered
Work Environment:
Office Setting- Working with others occasionally and working in a home-based office
Shift:
Monday to Friday 8am to 430pm. Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days at home. Overtime available based on operational needs
Essential functions:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
The position requires constantly operating a computer and other office productivity machinery such as multiple monitors and headphones,
The person in this position frequently communicates with customers to give instructions.
Must be able to exchange accurate information.
