An established construction company in Martinez, CA is looking to expand their team! They are looking for a contracts administrator to play a key role in overseeing contract management processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting negotiations. This role requires a proactive approach, strong organizational skills, and excellent attention to detail. This position is on-site.


Responsibilities:

• Manage the full lifecycle of contracts, from drafting and reviewing to execution and compliance monitoring.

• Ensure all contracts meet regulatory standards and align with organizational policies.

• Facilitate contract negotiations to achieve favorable terms and conditions.

• Review and redline contract documents to ensure accuracy and mitigate risks.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address contract-related inquiries.

• Oversee subcontractor agreements and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.

• Prepare calls for bids and evaluate proposals to support procurement processes.

• Maintain organized records of contracts and related documentation.

• Provide guidance and recommendations to resolve contract disputes or ambiguities.

• Continuously improve contract management processes to enhance efficiency.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in contract administration or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of contract drafting, redlining, and compliance processes.
• Proficiency in managing subcontractor agreements and procurement activities.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex contract language.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with contract management software or tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
