Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting in Middletown, MD, with a duration through the next school year. This role involves providing comprehensive speech and language services to students across various grade levels, supporting their academic and communication needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid Maryland SLP licensure
- Credentials including Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience in pediatrics, healthcare, teletherapy, or school-based practice
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is acceptable
- Strong assessment and intervention skills with K-12 students
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver speech-language therapy services tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Document therapy sessions and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Utilize teletherapy techniques when appropriate to enhance service delivery
