- Answer patient calls, schedule appointments, take accurate messages
- Insurance authorizations and interact with billing personnel
- Work collaboratively with physicians to implement appropriate patient care
- Maintain a clean environment to ensure patient safety
- Follow healthcare policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare
- Knowledge of medical insurances, entitlements and preauthorizations
- Computer skills, familiarity with electronic medical records
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Reliable and conscientious
