Substitute Special Education Teacher

Intermountain is expanding and we’re hiring! We are looking for an energetic, adaptable, purpose-driven, and dedicated person to join our team as our Substitute Special Education Teacher. This person will work with our kids in our on campus private accredited school for our therapeutic treatment home kids, grades K-8th. To be successful in this role, you will:
- Implements group and individualized instruction in compliance with agency, State and Federal Guidelines.
- Implements lessons and hands-on activities through a variety of materials and resources.
- Establishes classroom schedules and routines designed to improve self-esteem, learning potential and relational development.
- Administers and evaluates assessments to identify learning needs to improve educational achievement and instruction.
- Implements the Individualized Education Plan using the Montana electronic system, Infinite Campus (AIM).
- Implements the Individual Education Plan for out-of-state students in accordance with master contracts and individual services agreements.
Qualifications:
- B.S. or B.A. degree in Elementary Education
- An endorsement in Special-Education K-12 is preferred.
- Valid Montana Driver’s License (or obtain within 60 days of employment)
- Must pass a Background check prior to start date
